Doesn't look to good. Tom Hoskins PLC 23 December 2005 Tom Hoskins Plc ("Tom Hoskins" or the "Company") The Company note that on 24 December 2005, it will have been six months since the release of the announcement detailing the suspension of its ordinary shares from trading pending publication of an admission document describing, inter alia, the acquisitions of Bioloop Mobile Wireless Plc ("Bioloop") a wholly owned subsidiary of HLT Limited; and Mobile Automated Payments (Singapore) Pty ("MAP") a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobile Automated Payments Pty Ltd ("the Acquisitions"). The Company is still in discussions relating to the Acquisitions but given the Company's ordinary shares will have been suspended from trading for six months, in accordance with the AIM Rules, the Company's ordinary shares will now be cancelled from trading on AIM on 28 December 2005. The directors of Tom Hoskins are still pursuing the Acquisitions and should they be completed, the directors will apply for admission of the Company's ordinary shares to trading on AIM.

anyone have shares in this lot i have but no idea of the timescale Tom Hoskins acquires Bioloop Mobile Wireless, Mobile Automated Payments LONDON (AFX) - Shares in AIM-listed Tom Hoskins PLC have temporarily been suspended as the company announced it has acquired Bioloop Mobile Wireless and Mobile Automated Payments (Singapore). Tom Hoskins said in a statement that the transaction, which is conditional on due diligence on Bioloop and MAP, as well as admission of the enlarged entity to trading on AIM, would constitute a reverse takeover under AIM rules. Bioloop is a wholly owned subsidiary of HLT LTD, while Mobile Automated Payments is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobile Automated Payments PTY LTD. newsdesk@afxnews.com nes/

Well they have got to do something but at what price as the costs keep going up and the reserves are now minus-minus. Put yourself in the position of trying to inject your business in or doing a rights issue!! Difficult but not impossible. Will have to wait.

TIMC It sounds as if you are a shareholder? Yes they have been approached but without going into the technical details everybody is stuffed up. However, there is a way out but not for the B/B

Anley-In addition I would add that zero info provided on where the Co is with an acquisition: 1.Have they ever been approached? 2.If so, for what reason did talks finalise 3.How quickly will they get a deal. The report today looks like it was scribbled on the back of a postcard in 5 minutes.Totally lacking in detail and no identification of the above. HBBC have the majority shares so it is in their interests to find a deal. But we have heard the wording of todays report so many times before this thing is nothing more than a knackered horse that should long ago have been taken away for dog food.

Its now the end of August 2004 and we have the results. Loss underwritten by the largest shareholder but what of the prospects in finding a suitable business that can eat up the two types of tax losses: 1 Property 2 Trading and both have to be similar to the ones it lost money in the first place. Regards

As I have said before its quite difficult to find a suitable growth story or business for this company. The tax losses for example are tricky because there are two kinds: 1 when the assets were bought and sold and 2 the losses from trading. So we come down to the value of a quotation - whats this worth - any ideas please? I am keeping an eye on this one but not at this price. Regards

Call last orders on this tired ex pub company. The thing should have been laid to rest years ago, after being brought to its knees throug running various pubs-miracle its still trading. There is a real need to get something reversed into Hoskins-cant understand why the major shareholders, Hoodless Brennan cant find an appropriate deal yet? So at present, the shares can be valued at any price based on peoples perceptions and expectations of a future deal emerging and what that deal would be. Todays single trade of 400k sold was probably a large investor/institution tired of waiting. But surely of all the private companies in the universe, there must be something that warrants being put in this shell?

I am surprised that no one has made a posting on this BB! With the price still reflecting a gross overvaluation we could see the price down to a fraction of a penny. That will sort out the stale bulls I hope and bring forth a sensible deal where the tax (capital and trading) can be used for the benefit of all. Any comments from anyone else?

If you want a response from the FSA, you have to write to them at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS They don't read every post on every BB and stating on here that you want to complain won't do anything, as they will never see it.

IV NEVER LIKED SHARP PRATICE and never will, quite how these mm can with out any reason stich people up with there blantant manipulations is nothing short of criminal deception, blocking trades that are on the ask yet pretending the demand has out striped that ask, whilst not showing any trade of the day. well thks to time checks i can see and expose there scams, on this share alone cant say which of the 2 mm it is but they work together, as no trade was released to see on screen giving the false illusion none had occered, to me that is manipulation of price sensitive trades and is done to decieve, in short sharp pratice, and its high time these time delayed scams were brought to court, and there licene removed, moving mkts should unfold as they occur plain and simple, there's no excuse. with holding information is DECEPTION.
