Sounds good, Piedro. You are best directing your emails to an individual. Pick a director and email him. I contact tphillipson@tolent.co.uk, but he may get a bit niffed if he gets too many emails. Company contacts on the Plc website will give you some names. m8

Building our way out of recession
Feb 10 2009 by Paul James, The Journal
BUILDING contracts worth £200m will be kickstarted today in a bid to keep the North East working through the recession. The package of measures announced by Gateshead Council includes 91 new council houses, up to £16m of home improvements, tax incentives and free rent for businesses and a new tourism campaign to bring more visitors to Tyneside.
And as part of its plans, the council is aiming to boost the local economy by changing its constitution to make sure North East businesses are considered for all its work.
A similar move is being prepared in Sunderland ... ... ...

Do you think TLT may have taken advantage of swapping long term debt to short term >
"As currently, borrowing arrangements have become much more flexible, on certain cases companies tend to substitute Long-term loans with Short-term borrowings which they carry forward. This phenomenon is encountered in cases of stong expectations for lower interest rates in the economy. In such cases, a company might find preferable, instead of locking itself in a long-term obligation with an interest rate that might prove to be higher than the prevailing market rate in the near future, to use short-term debt as a part of its capital structure - and therefore take advantage of decreasing interest rates." < General quote from financials. m8
