I emailed the company yesterday asking when they were planning to issue a response to the DMCI offer.
As a holder of just over 1% of the company I was at least expecting the courtesy of a prompt reply.
Silence.

DMCI are the BUYERS. They own part of Berong, they are part of a huge local conglomerate with contacts, they are keen to acquire mining assets - in the event of a counter offer from Fevamotinico they will NOT sell unless the offer were crazy. HOWEVER IF they want it badly enough they might increase their offer....or go hostile...

Come on TMC lets have a comment... its nearly 1 week since the offer.

DMCI Mining Corporation

Receipt of Letter of Intent to Accept the Offer

DMCI Mining today confirms it has received a letter of intent to accept the Offer from World Fund PTE Limited in relation to its entire holding amounting to 2,501,019 Toledo Shares, representing approximately 5.0 per cent. of Toledo's existing issued share capital.

As set out in the announcement of 15 February 2013, DMCI Mining already holds 18,818,344 Toledo Shares, representing 37.7 per cent. of Toledo's existing issued share capital, following the acquisition of Jason Cropper's stake.

Defined terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as set out in the announcement made on 15 February 2013.

Knitcraft. Both. I sold half and will wait to see what the company say before deciding on the other half. I personally cannot afford to risk this dropping back again. Many holders would have acceped 40p a few weeks ago me included... I know what your thinking - why only sell half then.....greed!

Why sell now? If the deal goes thru you get 50p. If not the price drops back to mid 20s and we sit and wait. Its still a potentially massive resource. IMO

I have hedged and sold half for 48p.... I will see what the company recommend before deciding on the other half...

Low volume today considering...which would suggest the majority of holders who were going to sell out have now done so.

The rest of us are following the companies' advice and sitting tight. It would be nice if we get their thoughts this week; although I imagine they must call a board meeting - whether this can be done via conference call or they need to actually meet which could take time to arrange.

Which is correct??? I ask for no particular reason !!

Each to their own but I'm accepting the offer and if this draws another bidder out of the woodwork all well and good.

In fact my stance has been to pick up small batches over the last few days to eek every last per cent - with each batch theoritically making 2%+ if the bid suceeds.

apparently TMC have dusted off Reg's old type writer and are loading a new ribbon as I write this so they can prepare the old take over RNS - the word "Jinchuan" will be replaced with DMCI - I doubt this "offer" will be followed by a placing - I feel this is TMC's swansong....

I don't know why anyone is surprised that the company hasn't said anything. They've hardly every been communicative since Fev's been on board. GLA
