This statement from the report provides good comfort and insight:
"The Lesedi CBM Project continues in the appraisal phase with three working pilots in the Selemo area situated in the southern part of the block. It is likely that further wells will be required to continue to obtain data on coal parameters, in particular in the northern and more eastern parts of the block, before a development decision can be made."

Why? Remember the issue of heterogeneity!
The acreage is large so that the further away from Selemo that the appraisal drilling takes place implies there is more confidence in homogeneity closer to the area extending away from the current test pods. If the CP had said that further work was required in the closest areas this would have been unfavourable. Meanwhile data gathering will continue with the test pods.

[NB. The 50MW project is now more/highly likely meaning my (current) valuation of about 12p coming closer].

don't underestimate the size of this project.

50MW already in the bag with government and that excludes 300mw plant, 90MW orapa conversion, other offtakes and exports.
