It might be that TLA are playing hard ball as liquidity is not there and they might want a full cash alternative. Recent volume is an arb shutting down his short. Either way I dont think there is much downside from here, I bought the stock at 40 last week.

Reading the AAPC listing prospectus, it would appear their are 2.156m founder shares issued at 12 cents, also they offered an option to initial shareholders to redeem all of their shares at the date of the first deal for cash equal to the amount they hold on deposit. They have 18 institutional holders currently holding 58% of the equity, with 17 having closed or reduced positions and 6 having increased positions over the recent 3 months. It looks like the roadshow did not go well and that the deal is not well supported by the holding institutions, or is it a rebellion against the massively discounted founder shares?

Oops ! I did invest a starter amount (1.6% of p/f) yesterday. Wanted to look at what value AAPC were adding vs how much were the AAPC founders getting enriched, before building a larger position. Are you going to sell, ff ? Or hold on (seems like a decent business)?

Many thanks Flyfisher. I will look at this in more detail. When do you reckon completion will be?

papy, I expect to take cash and sell or hold balance on nasdaq. Much depends upon the roadshow and how the issue is received on nasdaq. with AAPC at $10 and 1.30 fx = 72p = 27% gain AAPC at 9 and 1.30 fx = 65p = 15% gain AAPC at 8 and 1.30 fx = 58p = 3% gain AAPC at 7 and 1.30 fx = 51p Need 50% in cash at 61.5p and sell residue above $8 to profit. AAPC currently $10.4

Hi Flyfisher, I'm not holding. I'd be very interested in an outline investment case as you see it. Will you go for the 61.5p (is that fixed or ex-rate dependent?) as far as poss (circa 60%?) or all AAPC shares?
