Transaction in own shares

Tiso Blackstar announces that on 9 January 2017 it purchased 10,272 ordinary shares of EUR0.76 each in the Company (the "Shares") at a price of R9.00 (GBP0.54) per share. The purchased Shares are expected to be held in treasury in accordance with applicable law.

The Company has a total of 268,291,260 shares in issue and, following the above purchase, excluding the treasury shares the issued share capital of the Company will be 265,920,621. The number of Shares purchased represents 0.0038% of the total shares in issue.

A total of 2,370,639 treasury shares are now held by the Company.
