Ludlow my good man - you seem to be in the know!

However, soem things puzzle me:

1. you no longer have shares in this co.
2. You plan to invest all in AFD after your upcoming £20k windfall and these shares are expected to top 200p within 3 months!

So my Q is where do you get your info and why a 10p rise - which I must admit would be nice and about time.

It also puzzles me that this share last year with not as good prospects hit 43p so I should imagine that the share should easily top that

Who knows???? The share price should perform well over the next year because the company is trading well and any surprises should be positive. We cannot rule out a bid because they are a well postioned company that is there for the taking, The oft mentioned sum of the parts valuation of 50p is a distant dream at the moment.Imagine if someone made an offer now at 50p,I for one would snap their hands off . The potential bidder is about 6 phone calls away from buying the company at that price, or not..., so I see this as very cheap at these prices. Come Feb 2009 this will either be taken over or the share price will be at 50p.

When's this next jump due?

By the look of the recent buys - its no time soon!

Been reading the threads - what 'Jump' is on the way?

No more big buys recently!

Think maybe the drop in share price has halted any chance for decent acquisitions.

As I mentioned previously may need to look at a major invester i.e. John De Mol, or follow the merger route, cause at present the co. looks like a takeover target (and was the reason I initially invested) but with more research I personally don't think that at present this would give investors the best return, especially since the year on year results and co. growth seems to have been quite impressive.

Don't know much about this sector, but it seems as if the last 12 months has been a poor one in general for media co. Considering a year ago TIN was 42.5p, RDF has been as high as 260p and SHDP around 120-130p.

Things can only get better. Some decent comissions would see the share rocket.

Had a recent punt on this one. Read a bit aboutthe co. history over weekend. Big Q - why did Jon De Mol sell his shares in this company? I personally think that he would have been better off keeping these ones, and not invest in RDF and Shed (which he has lost a considerable amount of money).

If I was this co. Chairman/CEO then I would be talking to this chap or others similar to reinvest - it shows in the share price that if shares are bought the price increases!

Dunno much about media companies merging but I would think that Tin can do well enough by itself. It has bought at low prices and has a disciplined approach to what it does.
Ludlow the price target has been 50p for years.....
Did you buy some ?

Here's a thought I think Tinopolis should merge with RDF media, and Shed productions to create a Mega-Super indie to compete with the non listed companies - Shine (Elizabeth Murdoch), All3Media (Steve Morrison, David Liddiment, Jules Burns with Premira as private equite investors), Endemol(Jon De Mol), Talckback Thames (part of Freemantle media) and IMG media.

This would create a company with a turnover of circa £210m ish and could create graet leverage in the purchasing of other comapnies.

Just a thought - any comments?

small buys are moving this share north, so I presume a few big buys would significantly increase this share price.

the US approach may be the more sensible option with the strength of the pound versus the dollar at present, since when the dollar improves then the global value of those companies will add real bite to the share! i don't know - possibilities.

not much said about teacher's tv as of late, but think that would be a good sub for the jam closure.

i think the co. has been guilty of news neglect in the past year and PR certainly needs to improve - the city likes positive news!

I think they have some good possiblities in the pipeline. I saw something the other day in then press about Teachers TV which is up for grabs . They have made a very strong pitch for it with some high profile partners. They are doing more biz in the USA and they have a fully integrated approach , they cover the whole cycle so they should be able to offer full service all under the one roof.
