20/7/2015 13:54 | Moor - I have a similar story with AFR (FTSE 250) and PTR (hopefully on the mend now but will never see previous highs). When you throw in the big drop in the bank shares a few years ago, BP oil spill and Tesco to name but a few then it really makes you wonder if its best just to stick under the mattress. | chris cat

31/5/2015 09:18 | Albeit a valuation on paper, when accounts are prepared assets are valued at a current valuation, or if the asset is valued at less than the cost of their investment then an impairment charge has to be raised. Valuations are signed off by auditors so be interested what figure ARACA'a auditors put on their $193m investment. A bit of transparency at last. | cfccfc1970
30/5/2015 17:06 | Unfortunately this is valuation on paper | kubok012
30/5/2015 16:56 | Good point cffcc. Someone thinks it has value in that company. We are in the dark but hopefully all will be revealed soon !! | moormoney
30/5/2015 16:44 | Please can someone enlighten me. I cannot understand how a company can pay $193m for a 27.5% of what is being described as a worthless company. What am I missing? Many thanks. | cfccfc1970
30/5/2015 10:25 | 1 license is still remaining, and should worth something. And we need to sell it as soon as possible otherwise we will be left with nothing | kubok012
30/5/2015 10:09 | Problem being Kubok if they have no license they have nothing to sell. | john henry |
