03/11/2017 12:45 | Thanks indeed Like the baking soda I love the smell of James Fluid ! Unfortunately the other half does not. In my wisdom , I poured some down the outside drains thinking it a good idea. Apparently the garden smelt like a multi storey car park that had been just been disinfected. The dark eye treatment again ! Lol | ignoble
03/11/2017 12:41 | I use this a lot for sealing masonary and seems to work well. or this | jonjonck
03/11/2017 12:36 | Jeyes Fluid to answer part of the question. Bleach works well also once it dries to kill and remove algae, but leaves the perfect surface for moss and algae to grow again, so needs treating. You could try treating the stone with a solution of Baking soda, nice and cheap, to make the surfaces much more alkaline as moss prefers acidic conditions. Any excess white residues from the baking powder will wash away easily when it rains but leaves enough in the masonry pores to help. | jonjonck
03/11/2017 12:23 | Most Patio cleaners alone work pretty well especially if left to soak and then scrubbed gently with a broom. They should leave chemicals behind after rinsing which help protect against more moss etc. Just rinse off gently and not over do the rinsing. Messy job using a pressure washer and you still need chemicals to prevent moss forming again. A masonry sealant also helps. | jonjonck
03/11/2017 11:14 | Not too bad , back in time to be told Mrs Ig is going shopping Nice easy time mixing my Patio Magic stuff and applying slowly £10.50 for 2.5 lines. . Whenever her eyes seem to go dark , I run ! | ignoble
