In the YouTube message, Mr Darling said

The Treasury has already said it is seeking efficiency savings of £5 billion by 2011. Mr Darling is expected to say that should be extended by a further £10 billion over the following three years. There will be huge implications for public-sector jobs as "back office" functions are pared back. Only frontline services such as education will have budgets protected.

I think the odds of INDEPENDENCE are pretty high....although I would have preferred to see some NON Irish representation on the panel.

Exactly Cavet....why change from one company to another. Their taking this company private on the cheap.

As i said many times before this company's stock is a waste of time. I won't be taking shares in the new company.

I'd like to see another company make a play for Thirdforce but thats unlikely to happen.

I also can't see the institutional holders being happy with this offer.

The Independent Board should be communicating with
shareholders soon?

So, MBO is offering 8 cents a share with 6.9 million in cash
in the company, which is roughly 3 cents a share, valuing
the business without the cash at 5 cents.

Presumeably, if an offer is made, the Independent Board will
communicate the MBO's offer to us, with their reccommendation which
presumeably will tell us " what they can do for us in LearnVantage
that they can't do in Thirdforce?"
