Looking at the trades for the last 21 days its apparent that the majority have been sells.Odd then that the share price has remained steady (even jumped twice). Now the MMs and brokers do not hold stock ,so, Circa 180000 shares have gone somewhere ie.3.6% of the company. My take on this is that a buy order was completed yesterday and we will see a new fund on the list of investors.RNS in next few days. Please bear in mind if you try to duplicate my calcs. that some trades showing as buys are in fact sells because they are delayed showing. For example trade number 9 today is actually a sell not a buy.

Only a few small Sells today/yesterday,.... but in amongst them the 5525 Market Maker Buy.

Gives support to spekky's view that someone's trying to acquire stock.

I'd be daft to disagree but I also think FDG will be £4/share soon enough, with better growth than ULG.Also think they'll use some of the 25mill to do something about their debt.

I'd take £25m cash from ULG spekky = almost £5 a share!!

ULG ?
I can see where your coming from Jeff but if anything like that were to happen I hope it will be a larger group with deeper pockets.
Having read the ULG recent results I can further understand what an exceptional job the FDG team have done.

Probably wishful thinking by me, but you never know:-

www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=200701220706518908P

"The Board believes that the Company has now reached the stage where more
substantial acquisitive growth may now be contemplated and it is reviewing a
number of acquisitions."

I don't think the divi will have any bearing on whether people buy or sell FDG,its only 1p.If theres a lack of news then it may well fall a bit BUT,for the time being I believe any news is likely to be good not bad.In my opinion the trading update points to H1 being "significantly ahead" and I'm confident that they'll say that again in April (just after the half year). Before then I expect to hear of a few aquisitions 'cos theres a limit to how much they can squeeze out of the current 28 venues.
