11/12/2006 14:05 | vern brough @ 12.5 what a mug! | vfleetsons@aol.com
11/12/2006 13:15 | Vern, hope you didn't get into AST,they got water not gas,I can get water from an FDG bar.....LOL. (PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDN'T).... | spekky
11/12/2006 13:03 | Shenanigens, the trade showing as a sell at 12.23 (213P) is actually a buy cos its delayed from 10.42 am when the spread was 210-215.Now why would they want us to think people were selling ? My guess is they're short of stock and/or there's a buy order to be filled.Pure conjecture cos I dont have level 2.Or is it a quirck of ADVFN ? | spekky
11/12/2006 11:40 | I never understand why the spread on this does n't put buyers off, greedy MMs.Its not had any press that I know of and its not been rerated (has it?) so the fact its still being nibbled is great, by the way ,I'm pretty sure the afore mentioned scenarios will happen.....I'll keep checking though. | spekky
11/12/2006 11:30 | Good luck with it Vern,a bit risky for my taste but I'll keep an eye on it.Nice to see this one up again. Was looking back to 2003 when Hartford had 19 outlets and now 28 (as FDG).Not bad growth for a tiddler. So its particularly thought provoking when they said in the results: "This excellent performance demonstrates the operational gearing inherent within the Group, where the central infrastructure is in place to manage significant further site expansion without a material increase in the central cost base." KERCHINGGGGGGG...... | spekky
11/12/2006 11:26 | Here we go again? | one for the money
11/12/2006 10:45 | vern watching AST about to fly | vfleetsons@aol.com
10/12/2006 18:24 | 250p definately looks modest, I think this still has a fair bit to go. Looking at the large buys (by food group standards) over the last few days at full price, others believe it also. | goldent
08/12/2006 18:04 | share price needs to pass £100 before i am in profit............. | johndee
08/12/2006 16:33 | VERN STILL GOING THE RIGHT WAY | vfleetsons@aol.com
08/12/2006 12:53 | CR cant remember the email address - post and i'll send on. | tole
08/12/2006 12:41 | Still the fish are nibbling,by my reckoning FDG will probably issue an update sometime mid Jan 2007,thats when they previously did it as part of the annual results. If your prepared to hold I think the share price will get another significant uplift. If the update's good the interims (end of May 07)will be excellent. | spekky
08/12/2006 11:07 | looking good - 250p looks pretty modest imo - anyone got the Peel Hunt note to email me please? CR | cockneyrebel
07/12/2006 18:01 | Especially for those of us who predicted (ok.hoped for) a dividend. Now its on the table it needs to be bettered and the fact its there is a statement of confidence in the managements ability to do just that. | spekky
07/12/2006 17:24 | Good results. Surprised that forecasts haven't been raised for the coming year. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
07/12/2006 17:15 | Impressively ,it appears that 98% of shares have been held by those who held before results. Not many tempted to cash in on recent gains, even though Xmas looms ever closer. If the company PR machine keeps us updated with regular snippets of good news 260p should be a breeze, fingers crossed for good trade in the coming weeks (crucial). | spekky
07/12/2006 16:32 | New note out by peel hunt - 260p target. | tole
07/12/2006 15:30 | vern nice little xmas treat | vfleetsons@aol.com
07/12/2006 13:35 | Have added a few today as I think this has much further to go - with a bit of patience. Meanwhile, the divi is very welcome! | tedg41
07/12/2006 11:57 | LOL! ed: at last sentence that is! | one for the money
07/12/2006 10:43 | Particularly like the following: "The growth potential for the Henry J Bean's brand is substantial" AND.......... "However, the material growth prospects for the brand come from the ability to roll out to key locations in the UK, and internationally, through franchising. We are currently in the process of securing sites for the first phase of this brand expansion and look forward to providing a more substantive update in the near future." Hopefully Leeds will be a venue, then I can put my mouth where my money is. | spekky
07/12/2006 10:30 | looks like the company made more last year than they were due to make next year | edcrane
07/12/2006 10:26 | Only had a quick glance so far (NTL broadband off in my area)but pleased about the maiden divi.Although still convinced its cheap I can't see much more share price action unless it gets some good press and a trading update after Xmas to confirm what they seem to be saying ie. its going to be a good one for FDG. | spekky
07/12/2006 09:03 | I like the confidence in paying a maiden dividend. Cheers John | one for the money |
