A stonking performance, achieved all I was hoping for and more besides.

The recent 2007 Forecast of £1.37m pre tax and 26.2p EPS (and no Div)
will have to be revised to something like £1.5m+ pre tax and 30p+ EPS

Making good noises about all round growth as well.

Worth at least £3 at a minimum I'd say now.

In today - look exceedingly cheap imo.

Fwd PE about 7 and they say they are significantly ahead on this year? I presume the Peel Hunt note @ 22p eps for the results tomorrow is after guidance from the company after the trading statement.

Can see these getting a major re-rating myself - fwd PE of 12 wouldn't be overboard - that's £3 a share if that was the case.

Not much showing yet, perhaps an MM tactic to tempt some weak holders,or maybe they have a buy order to fill, times like this I wish I had level two...oh well.

Up 3.5p (at open)nice,......wonder if there's a delayed trade not showing, usually that only happens when its well above NMS.Still , the cats out of the bag tomorrow, which could bring unwelcome attention.Yes,like all long term holders I look forward to some action on the share price but,I'd like to see FDG grow and not be taken out by a predator ( Gondola Hldgs/Restaurant Grp etc being particularly aquisitive).

I agree £86k plus is what I call a punt!
And a good broker, he paid less than the 5k buy ahead of him....nice.

Lets hope so,Jeff. The market would take it to mean FDG was a serious investment and not just a punt. Not holding my breath though........

spekky - I reckon the disposal has increased the chances of a dividend which
you've hoped for being declared

Yep, not complaining but, I dont understand the 2% hike on such low volume. When it hits the spotlight next thurs it should go into orbit.AND,theres just been a late nibble at 1.75p so the fish are taking the bait, luverly.

spekky,

FWIW I believe that Peel Hunt have maintained forecasts which I included in my marathon post a fortnight ago, namely they upgraded the PTP figure from £1m to £1.18m.
Here's a note of their forecasts

KBC Peel Hunt

Year ending 9/06
PTP - £1.18m
EPS – 22.43p (PER 7.5)

Year ending 9/07
PTP - £1.37m
EPS – 26.2p (PER 6.4) - 16% increase on 2006 estimates.

Look cheap to me, everything considered.

GHF

Snippet from KBC Peel Hunt on today's news:-

"FDG has sold its one remaining restaurant, Canyon in Richmond, for £1.2m, as well as Henry J Beans in Camden for £0.2m. Profit on disposal is £0.5m.
These proceeds, which are very significant for a company of this market size, are to be used for expansion of the core bars business.
FDC is on a lowly multiple of 6.4x earnings for the year to 9/07."

I hope the "ongoing expansion" will lead to some kind of statement that they intend to double or treble the estate within three to five years.Still not sure what their plans for HJB might be.Looking forward to some bullish news as much as the actual results ( which we all know should be circa 1 mill profit ).Pleased that they are reporting next week,to have missed the ten week deadline would have been a big black mark in my book.
