17/11/2006 10:53 | They did 5.7p for the interims yet have a forecast of over 22p for the year ended 2006. Personally I don't think that they will reach it but I'll be happy to be proven wrong. | liarspoker
17/11/2006 10:44 | I think advfn is wrong. I've noticed it happens on quite a few stocks. | wjccghcc
17/11/2006 09:20 | Interesting that ADVFN is showing a 2.5p markdown but no other website is.Although its the kind of MM manipulation you would expect in advance of very good news i.e.scare some weak holders into selling,MMs acquire cheap stock to sell higher when results are out. | spekky
14/11/2006 09:31 | If you look at a similar sized company such as PNB (Pubs'N'Bars) you'll see that they have maintained a consistent divi of 1.75p on profit of 1 mill. The difference being that PNB have nearly 25mill shares in issue,so they give back 437k to the shareholders,if FDG were to do the same, that would give a divi of 8.75p.I'll be happy with that ( but I'm not holding my breath.lol ). | spekky
13/11/2006 13:14 | Not sure where they get the zero divi forecast,I think 2p is on the cards,at a cost of say 100k,this will bring them straight into the spotlight and do more to attract bigger investors/institutio | spekky
13/11/2006 08:55 | Nice to see the revised Forecasts I referred to in Post 48 confirmed by Peel Hunt on 9/11/06. Y/E Sep 2006 Pre tax £1.18m EPS 22.4p Div 0p Y/E Sep 2007 Pre tax £1.37m EPS 26.2p Div 0p spekky you were correct about quicker reporting...results due within 10 weeks of year end, so not long to wait:- Reporting of Financial Performance We intend to accelerate the future timing of our reporting to shareholders. We will aim to announce interim results within six weeks of the relevant financial period ending and preliminary results for the full financial year within ten weeks of the period end. | jeff h

24/10/2006 10:56 | Well spotted Jeff,good publicity for HJB's........ | spekky
24/10/2006 08:57 | Bit of a coup for HJB's....imagine howm much that crew and supporters will throw down their necks...the place will be heavin'! :- Monday October 23 2006 Beers with the boys for two lucky people The All Blacks are coming to town! And we are giving away a pair of VIP tickets to one lucky person to go to London on Thursday November 2 and have a few cold ones with the touring party. The team will be dining at Apartment 195 above Henry J Bean's on Kings Road. A limited number of fans can join the All Blacks for a reception, sit down meal and drinks, 40 tickets for this are available at £200 (The booking number is +44 (0)207 349 4455). During latter part of the evening (from 20:30), the public are invited to join the team for more drinking and fun at Henry J Bean's bar but access will be on a first come first served basis and it will be very busy. | jeff h
17/10/2006 12:30 | Did I read somewhere that FDG was going to speed up its reporting? i.e. will we get the finals this side of Xmas? We know they're going to be good, my guess is profit b4 tax up by 250k at least but with exceptional items (profit on disp. of old HQ. lease for example ) its a bit of a guess.FWIW my guess for full year b4 tax etc is circa 800k,which starts to look pretty good for a company mkt cap of £8mill.Not sure if they'll be liable for tax (Last yr they had £1mill carry forward allowance against future profits) can any accountants out there clarify this. What chance a 2p final dividend? | spekky
11/10/2006 16:18 | AH....now it makes sense,cheers steggles.... | spekky
11/10/2006 13:55 | Its the offices above Henry J Beans | steggles
11/10/2006 10:27 | Now then, why the move to Chelsea ? Perhaps for the image ? is it cheaper,I doubt it.....I hope they're not getting ideas above their station. | spekky
05/10/2006 16:31 | vern nice to see somebody else has rated this one a buy, | vfleetsons@aol.com
30/9/2006 13:51 | Been watching now for some time and the story does look more positive than in the Hartford days. | golden cross
29/9/2006 08:00 | vern I love Lanzarotes porta carmen beach, cant waite till we get the results. | vfleetsons@aol.com
27/9/2006 23:04 | Went into HJBs at Lanzarote airport today, got to say its not doing the brand any favours, dont know if FAD has that much control over its franchisees but next time I'll use another food outlet,it was c..p.Still expecting good things from the next results ( already a given ). | spekky
19/9/2006 16:43 | vern looking at the chart it looks very steady i think she will go far | vfleetsons@aol.com
08/9/2006 16:56 | vern hold tight | vfleetsons@aol.com
05/9/2006 17:00 | The last 2 buys total 65000,not a small punt on a largely unknown company, wonder if Thomas has dipped in again ? anyway its starting to look very good and begining to justify my faith in the management.Hartford was never going anywhere as a penny share, the consolidation and name change was inevitable and we will see the fruit soon.Still think divi is possible even if Peel Hunt don't.......we'll see.Nice to see some new contributers.... | spekky
05/9/2006 10:16 | I'm surprised this stock hasn't risen a lot higher...Paul Hickman from Peel Hunt describes it as 'chronically undervalued' with the market not factoring in the Henry J Beans potential. Revised forecasts:- Y/E Sep 2006 Pre tax £1.18m EPS 22.4p Div 0p Y/E Sep 2007 Pre tax £1.37m EPS 26.2p Div 0p ...so a forward P/E of just over 6 whereas I would have thought 10 and a current share price of 262p more appropriate. spekky mentions Urbium...I would like to see them target the corporate market as Urbium does...the Jamies website is interesting...Partie | jeff h
04/9/2006 13:20 | A bit more buying today. Perhaps this is going somewhere at last! | tedg41 |
