22/9/2015 12:44 | Not you ramping THAL, Investors Champion. Jeez you're touchy. If you look at the top of their report they tell you it's commissioned. Are they paid not to mention the $5m dodgy loan included on the balance sheet as a current asset? | mr macgregor
22/9/2015 11:52 | This lot have been ramping THAL down from £3. Research paid for by the company eh? | mr macgregor
22/9/2015 11:50 | Thought I remembered you. No wonder you're upset given your penchant for dodgy seismic companies. RSI ring any bells loser? lmfao RBonnier 7 Apr'14 - 12:51 - 1245 of 1256 Forgot I even had these until this text message popped up from Britdaq to advise there is a new seller .I logged onto Britdaq to see what price these are exchanging at after 2 years..........LOL 0.3P,deleted Britdaq account to forget about Rock Solid for ever we really dont need reminding ! | mr macgregor
22/9/2015 10:16 | Says it all really. | mr macgregor
22/9/2015 08:51 | I asked the company what they plan to do about what is currently a $5m deficit in the employees' benefit trust. This is my calculated difference between the loans made by the company to the trust and the current value of the shares the trust bought. I didn't receive a reply so there remain significant corporate governance concerns for me. The trust was supposedly established for the benefit of the employees. The company loaned the trust money to buy shares in the company. Sadly for the employees the trust bought 1 million shares from Duncan Soukup near the all time highs and since then the value of their shares has plummeted. You have to laugh at his brass neck though. Here is is congratulating himself in this report: "We have avoided spending money on non-core assets or purchasing overpriced assets at the peak of the market" lol, except their own! It seems the only person the trust has benefited is chairman Soukup. While that proved a good exit strategy for him, it's the sort of act that doesn't necessarily endear one to investors and staff going forwards. | mr macgregor
22/9/2015 07:43 | They seem a pretty decent set of results - cash rich, decent order book and profitable. Margins have also been maintained. | wooster4
17/9/2015 07:36 | I doubt anyone is feeling sorry for the chairman being down on those 375k shares. Last year he sold 1 million to his employees' benefit trust for £2.70 a pop. Good business IMO, selling high and buying low, and as someone said, don't buy shares in Thalassa, buy them in Duncan Soukup. | mr macgregor
03/9/2015 12:58 | Since early June Fortress have, per RNS's, sold 25,000, 200,000 385,000, 100,000, 100,000, 50,000, and 35,000 for a total of 895,000 still hold 2.3 million. Meanwhile Chairman in same period has bought 50,000 and 200,000 at 58p then 75,000 and 50,000 at 51p totalling 375,000 -- so at current share price of 44p he is down quite a bit. He now has 3.5m or 14%. Lost quite a bit myself on these as they collapsed but back in now at 44p - hard to see it going any lower unless Interim is a mess. | puku
25/8/2015 20:54 | I think he was referring to Fortress; I recall they sold some of theirs just before he posted. | janeann
25/8/2015 20:52 | RBonnier, "Huge seller with 12% to dump" must be either New Fortress Finance Holdings Ltd, Duncan Soukup, or THAL Discretionary Trust. Care to say which? In fact, looking at the recent RNS, New Fortress are already below 10%, so unless you made a mistake, that means the 12%+ holder is either Duncan Soukup, or THAL Discretionary Trust. | gnnmartin
25/8/2015 10:25 | So not a great prediction then...... Price now below Soukup recent purchases (51p) and cash on balance sheet (45p). Forecasts (fwiw) are that Thalassa will be profitable this year | stemis
