So you are Bioganix then...

Just checking. Interesting comments.

Obviously it'd be nice to hear more, though I think you are perhaps somewhat compromised in what you are allowed to say given that Bioganix is intending an AIM float (as far as I can see from your website).

It's clear you're right - TEG bought (at least in part) the most recent contract, though I don't see that as an issue if they can run it profitably - presumeably part of the process was some validation of their technology. Do you think their tender was on non-commercial terms - possibly you tendered too so you'd have insight there. You mention the previous win to Banham Poultry (with the justifiable caveat wrt the licence) but not the one before to Swansea - what are your thoughts on that?.
The Irish contract is more complicated than you make out - the terms negotiated were (as I understand it as a shareholder) not and never could be profitable, so terminating it was at least sensible (there was some dispute with one of their board who negotiated it and then left under a cloud but I don't know how that was resolved).

Any more info you can add (without prejudicing your position) would be great...

no real technical advantage. I believe their process is only licensed to UK standards for catering waste,(and took a long time to get even that approval cosniderign the time and money spent on it) therefore cannot legally process the (generally) higher gate fee food wastes from food processing industries. process is more complex than basic rivals in the catering waste sector but less robust than rivals in the higher sector. may have some biological expertise, but so do most others. check out the only commercial plant they built but don't talk about, in Ireland, which opened then closed within less than a year as it didn't work properly. maybe they learnt from this one and have now improved it? maybe.

try these sites to look at some of the others who have been in the business at least as long and already have operational plants and I doubt have made those sorts of losses:

nickhelme - interesting to hear a negative take on TEG.
Difficult for me to know if TEG have any technical advantage or if
their product is no different from rivals.
You obviously have an interest in how this loss making rival is progressing.
Are you able to say in what way TEG are no better or in fact worse than rivals
technically or is this patent territory/ FSA.

Isn't the market amazing? I run a company in the same sector as this. These guys have never made a profit, racked up over £8m of losses and are still not expecting earnings. They haven't won that contract in Scotland, they just bought it with the proceeds of the last fund raising. Look at the cash position, without the latest placing they would have run out within a few months. Check that Banham "contract", technically they will need to operate at EU standards under Animal By Product Regulations; check this against the actual licensing that their system eventually managed to acheive. In contrast the private company that I manage spent just £800k developing a process to do the same (and more), runs a 12,000 tonne per year plant, has been profitable for the last two years and has just won a real contract with Suffolk Council to finance, build and operate a 50,000 tonne per year plant. There are at least 4 other private companies that are managing to do similar things and are winning real contracts and building plants all the time.

Does anyone have any revenue estimates please?
I seem to remember we are not talking earnings for a couple of years?

hosede - i wouldn't be to sure re profits.
They have had to raise funds with institutional placing to fund expenditure on all their contract gains.
However the Scottish contract is already generating cash.
Swansea council have put up a £323,000 stage payment, which TEG won't be able to access just yet.
No doubt it is also the same with the Banham Compost contract.
Short term strain on cash flow, probably sorted by placing.
If they win any more contracts they may well place some more, but at a higher price.
You may be right, profits two years away, but the rate they are winning business it could be sooner.

I'm not sure, it could fall within the inside trading umbrella, that or they think they will move north sharpish, due to more pending good news. We will have to wait! Nice little earner for me so far.

surprised there still on the rise, thought they'd remain at 50p for awhile then a slight drop! will the placing still be at 37p, are the directors not allowed them at the placing price!

The Company has also today invited certain shareholders to subscribe for
1,000,000 New Ordinary Shares at the Placing Price and the Subscription Shares,
when issued, will rank pari passu, with the Existing Ordinary Shares, including
the right to receive all dividends and other distributions, thereafter declared,
made or paid.

For me this means that some will be tempted to take profits at the current price as the shares get issued.

Market cap of £8.2M pre new money.

Currently losing at least £1M per year. Even after the latest contract announcements this isn't going to make any money.

The technology is towards the low end of the market (can only handle segregated organic material) and is easily reproducable.

This is all going to end in tears.
