12/1/2017 14:12 | Good comment hguess16. My comments are solely out of extreme frustration in a stagnant company. We had all been burgled by the previous management. The future is looking brighter now though. I guess they are only doing what any other investor would do if they had all the info at hand. | temporarily insane
12/1/2017 13:30 | Having reviewed the share issues incl IPO's since 2007, I find the following info: which might put matters in perspective. 27/6/2007 issue 18m shares @ $2.75 for $50m 27/6/2008 " 21.3m @ $2.35 for $50m 19/6/2009 " 51.68m @ $0.35 for $17.906m During 2010 " 123.25m @ $1.25 for $152m During 2011 " 26m @ $0.50 for over $12m The above accounts for the Share Premium Account as shown on the balance sheet. Using the above info, it may be reasonable to assume that PAM may have paid at least over $0.50 or nearer to $1.00 per share for their original 64m shares. I will leave you to work out the average cost PAM would be paying for the 274m shares. The notes to the accounts during these years also provide an interesting insight on remuneration paid to Vazon Energy which was the company set up by Robson to receive income for him and his team !. So some of you guys should do your homework before castigating PAM and Wells who are now attempting to protect their interests !. | hguess16
12/1/2017 12:37 | Actually, saying that it would be nice if this new bunch actually did something that related to being an "OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION COMPANY" rather than running a paper pushing company or a charity business. | temporarily insane
12/1/2017 12:35 | Looking forward to them actually working together. | temporarily insane
12/1/2017 12:13 | Thanks to the "emergency prepayment" it is doubtful the resolutions can be stopped anyhow, unless there is a concerted effort by PIs, which there isn't. There are 17-odd million shares difference between Kumar/Pope and Olisol now. | casual47
12/1/2017 11:54 | naimanka, remind did you actually bother to get in touch with Bill Wells or any other of the BoD's.... as it comes across as extremely strange that you have all these Q's, but yet can't be bothered to ask those who hold the answers. That is of course, if those very Q's were valid, as in you really do want the answers as asking them continually on here, with your clear & undiluted bias against Bill Wells & PAM is obvious to all. All the above said, I doubt very much whether you'll bother and secondly, whether your 'tiny' holding will make any difference to the vote. | dorset64
12/1/2017 11:54 | I wonder if he is interested in getting any institutional investors on board? | temporarily insane
12/1/2017 11:50 | Well lets just wait and see. | temporarily insane
12/1/2017 11:37 | PIs. It's why the share price dropped so dramatically over such a long time. If an II did pick up some shares then their holding must below the 5% threshold requiring notification of holding. The only +5% II shareholders are Pope, Olisol and Kumars. | casual47
12/1/2017 11:19 | Does anyone have any idea who bought the Capital/JPM stakes when they exited? Nostrum did indeed pull out because of PAM not being willing to subordinate their debt, so that tells all you need to know about the "new teams" objectives (hint...it's looking out for PAM's interests, not the PI's or anyone else for that matter). It just becomes more zombie like every day and I am in no rush to vote as I still feel we are not getting the full story, there is a lot here that's disingenuous to say the least (at best). | naimanka74
11/1/2017 20:40 | Well Nostrums share price is back to near the time when Wells thought it sensible to decline their advances. And we are at near all time lows. | temporarily insane
11/1/2017 16:26 | Ben, Let me put the record straight !. Nostrum requested that they should be designated as the main creditor as part of their offer, hence PAM considered that this was going too far !. Nostrum did not reveal this in their press release. Robson was betting on Sino Han agreeing to follow through although he had still to obtain approval from the KAZ authorities for 50% of the KAZ assets for which he expected to receive $75m. As regards my shareholding, it is certainly well in excess of 5m shares. I have no option but to hope that the Kumars and Bill Wells actually deliver on their promise this time !. | hguess16
10/1/2017 18:53 | TI, Unfortunately we are where we are because some of us believed the " highly qualified " past chairmen and CEO's who issued ridiculously over exuberant forward looking statements about future prospects for Tethys ( 55p ). This was followed by decisions to establish partnerships with inappropriate parties with a view to securing a " future " for the company, which ultimately resulted in Tethys becoming a basket case !. As PI's, we have to hope that the new team, with Wells as chairman, can resuscitate Tethys !. | hguess16
10/1/2017 18:10 | hguess16, in my opinion 18p to 1.5p is what I would call a total collapse in the share price (thats not even considering the poor investors who got involved at 55p when Robson was in charge.) We are and have been over a year now stuck at 1.5p. | temporarily insane
10/1/2017 17:51 | TI, I too would like to see an upward move in the Tethys share price. The RNS'S announcing the Kumars' investment and the active role of Bill Wells has so far have only helped to prevent a total collapse of the share price !. We need some new evidence of a credible business plan from the new team incl cash resources to fund the short term debt and drilling and marketing of oil and gas. Hopefully the news following the EGM on 27 Jan might provide a long awaited boost of confidence that we are all waiting for. Until that happens, the current pitiful price range of 1.25p - 1.5p will continue !. I have already cast my vote supporting the two resolutions !. | hguess16
10/1/2017 16:17 | hguess16, it would be nice if ALL these RNS's made a difference to the share price for the private investor. | temporarily insane
10/1/2017 14:46 | Casual, I presume that you have not heard of corporate guarantees provided by major investors such as the Kumars' and PAM who might be willing to do exactly that, in order to keep Tethys afloat. There is little point moaning about further dilution when the only investors willing to commit their money or convert their debt to equity are the Kumars's and PAM. Foresight is a gift avaialable to a few !. I hope you realise that Tethys would have gone to the wall if the Kumars' and PAM, albeit belatedly, had not stepped in !. | hguess16
10/1/2017 14:36 | I was wondering how long it would be for the Canadians to wake up out of their Christmas slumber and manipulate the share price! Hey Bill Wells maybe you could investigate WHY a single sell of 5000 at .02 CAD equates to a drop of 20%. | temporarily insane
10/1/2017 13:54 | Somebody should write a film about all of this. | temporarily insane
10/1/2017 13:54 | Still nothing. | temporarily insane
10/1/2017 13:33 | Thank you benandemmiboo. I have not received mine yet. | temporarily insane |
