meanwhile renewables company ALK:

Times on line:

Rumour of the day

Alkane Energy, the producer of methane and electricity from disused coalmines, steady at 16p, is to unveil a trading statement at its annual meeting today. Word is that it will show that new projects in the East Midlands, Lancashire and South Wales should be completed by early next year, bringing gas capacity well above the present 20MW.

Still very quiet. Come on TER, let's get back to levels of, oh, say about 2 years ago! :-)

It seems to me that TER have sorted out their immediate cash crisis, which is very useful, but that's all so far. The management need to announce a new sense of direction and a new policy, maybe influenced to some extent by PG's involvement. But until something more positive comes out, I can't see any dramatic move in the share price

Prelims not due until the end of June. I doubt they'll be much happening today unless there was positive press coverage. No trades yet today so presumably not.

Anyone else here looking at IVE? I'm surprised that hasn't gone into orbit after production started yesterday.

Quite the reverse here, MMs move on practically every trade. If ten of us on the board all bought 40K shares each at 5 minute intervals, I suspect the MMs would mark the price up to probably 5p mid.

I bought mine first thing, the rest of you want to follow?

;)

Regardless of how you base the market cap, the rest of the world uses the mid price.

Currently the share price is 2-3.25p with MMs trading at 2.09-2.84p. The quoted market cap is £1.0m based on the current 38m shares in issue (excludes the warrants as they have not been exercised), which is 2.63p per share, 0.21p under what you can currently buy at.

Davius, when I commented, the share price was 4p offered, and I've never seen the point in basing market cap on the mid price when you can't buy stock at that level (if you wanted to).

My point is, the only people who are profiting from this situation are the directors (who seem to be getting paid a LOT of money for running a tiny company) and Mr Gyllenhammer - and as a Leeds Group shareholder, I have to say that his track record is NOT one of extracting value for small shareholders !

Apt nickname tired...

Market cap is based on mid price, currently £1m with the share price @ 2-3.25p.

The loan will have run for just over 4 months, so perhaps 3.5% net payable.

The warrants, if exercised, would be worth 2p now to Gyllenhammar, and no doubt if he tried to sell them the MMs would offer probably less than 1p, so currently of no net worth.

The directors deferred salary payments to ensure the survival of the business. Somehow I doubt the average shareholder would have in sent his salary as a loan to the company. Nothing wrong with them taking salaries now that the company has cash.

Agree with the last sentence of your post though.

A quick look at the gross and net takes a lot of the shine off.

That half a mill loan from December not only carried interest at 9%, it had 6 million 1p warrants attached; if you think TER is worth 4p now, that gives the warrants a profit of £180,000, or 36%. Pretty expensive, for 4 months money.

Also, TER has received US$3.64m gross in distributions - call it £1.82m; after paying back the half a mill loan, they're left with around £700,000 after settling "deferred liabilities" which from the announcement seems to include a major bunfight for the directors - of maybe £620,000 ?

You're left with a company which will have 44m shares in issue, mkt cap £1.76m at 4p, and the smell floating in the air of directors who are very keen to extract their salaries. Oh, and busted flush Chancre6 creeping back from Carey Street to claim "another" success.

WILL SEE A BIT MORE INTEREST OVER COMING WEEKS ONCE PEOPLE REALISE THIS HAS POTENTIAL.

And nobody believes a word of that do they !

Lets face it if you still held Ter you would have been ramping it
non stop but all you can do is pretend you still hold and use that
as a excuse to ramp your latest pump and dump.

Others that can hold a stock more than 5 mins get rewarded so well
done to then, even you asparks, but you miss out chancer because
you are a devious liar.

Chancer6 was right...100% rise from lows of 1.60p to buy...FPS to follow suit and rise to 1.10p in coming days. DYOR as always.

Will keep 200K at 1.60p in TER until finals.

They don't have a huge cash burn and actually made a small profit at the interims (due to a £500K gain on an investment). I think the issue has primarily been the Chinese control over much of the assets making it hard to value or realise.

I suspect asset value is still £4-£5m and with £700K in cash, main debt cleared and salaries paid they are no longer at the risk of going into administration.

2-2 @ 2.5-4p with MMs trading at 2.6-3.45p currently, market cap £1.24m.

MMs move very quickly on minor trades, I'm surprised this hasn't attracted a little more interest today.

nice news. from what I can read, it is not just $1.45M, moreforus, there is an additional $2M! Whether $700K left over will be enough to keep going I don't know, but it looks like some smart investments are paying off. Perhaps there are more on the way?
