Wonder why they can't state the DA 'sales' for 2017??????????????????????

Wonder why there has NEVER been a Cryptosoft/DA sales RNS via Tern in almost a decade?

SY, it's because we have global partners embedded that makes Stage 3 so tempting..

Just look at how much wotsapp, mobileye, and the likes have been sold for..

It's all about the potential future market and how unique the software is imho.

Over the last few years we have seen commentators, govt. and global players all start to say data centric security is the way forward.. We were there years ahead of the game thanks to AS...

The reason shareholders feel compelled to retain their holding in Tern is because this is a investment company with a small number of commitments. When a commitment goes Stage 3 then it is effectively a binary outcome in that it will be sold (or retained without us knowing to what stage negotiations reached) but being an unlisted commitment no one outside of Tern knows in advance what the estimated takeout of the commitment will be. A normal plc's shares will give you a clue, here we rely on quality dot joining.

Peeps been a while here and had a tough time whilst the scenario I played out in my other post (87720)today has manifested. People wont be selling Tern because they know DA will be sold this year. Who to, how much for, don't know but if you give up your holding in Tern shares you waive your right to the benefits accrued in any DA sale.

The reverse of that is that Tern report and accounts/general financial reporting is conservative and we have yet to see the outcome of any major disposal.

Please consider the above before selling.
