Cos i tend to use TEM as a guide for which way the wind is blowing for the EM ETF,as well as having a holding in TEM.

I tend to hold TEM long term and trade the ETF's .

Exactly,and the 3 i have been following and investing in - all trading on the NYSE are EDC (3 x Emerging Markets), ERX (3 x Energy),and FAS (3 x Financials).

Just wished i'd come across them 12 mths ago,rather than 5.

I also think we can go higher over the rest of the year - although fully expect (hoping for ) one or two 5% potholes en route.

I assume he was playing the Emerging markets ETF.

With the US recovering,I think we will see further decent gains over the rest of the year.

Emerging markets have to be an increasingly larger part of a portfolio as that is where the future growth lies.

The most striking thing about the recent rally,is how few people believe it.
In the USA they are referring to it as a melt up.

There is too much talk of bubbles,when in reality they are not that frequent.

I see the FTSE well over 6000 by year end if the conservatives get elected.


As ever,the time to worry is when your dentist tells you he made a killing in the stockmarket.That point is quite a long way off,meanwhile grab as much of the pie as you can.

Well - must say,enjoyed that. Nice 50%+ rise in 7 weeks,and if rest assured is right with his 700p target,the gain will be approx 140%. Heres hoping.

I would not be surprised if this trades over 700p this year.

Emerging markets are showing great resilience and the continued weakness of sterling will provide significant tail winds.
