The Nomad has been back in touch, there is indeed a technical fault on the web site, which they are working with the company to resolve, it was also pointed out that there is detail of directors interests within the audited finals report, which is also on the company web site, good to see a little bit of trade yesterday, albeit very light....GL S

Well, three emails and other than out of office replies, zero response from the company or indeed the Nomad, will try again tomorrow and hopefully a response will be forthcoming....GL S

I see them moving cash into a bank account as a negative - they may be deluded enough to think they can actually invest !

Cheers Swizz, will be interested to hear what they come back with. I have tried the company on several occassions without success, so hopefully the NOMAD will be more forthcoming. Thats if they remember that TJI are a client!

The fact they have moved some cash into a regular, easy access bank account does suggest that may be looking at some new investments.

What we really need is for them to sell the land they own and convert that into cash, which even if it was at 50% of the book value, would see a significant re-rate.

The other piece of information that is missing is a list of significant shareholders, so difficult to determine the free float.

Agreed sd, it looks a good one to tuck away, Looking through the recent news flow, the BOD do appear to be picking up on the vibe of a lack of activity, albeit the news is very scant and there is very little in the way of demonstrating they are looking to step up their investment activity,

btw, you can also trade on line via Youinvest, that said when I was discussing the company with a dealer on Friday, they are apparently flicking the on line trading facility on and off like a light switch, which is probably as a result of the low liquidity,......GL S

I have a holding here as I think that one day it will have one of those crazy days where the MC will fly up several hundred percent.

However, the challenges as I see them are the glacial pace that the management move at, the fact that due to the USD listing many brokers only deal over the phone which is off putting to pi's and also,as I understand it, due to the fact the company is Dubai based foreigners can only own a minority shareholding which would make it difficult to take the company over and force the changes needed to release cash to shareholders.

All that being said am happy to hold and see where it goes

NTAV more than 1000% above current market cap. Agree swizz, surprised no-one has taken a punt to try and force break up / liquidation.

The bear case is total lack of newsflow. Absolutely nothing except 6-monthly results. The market is assuming shareholders won't ever see any of those vast paper assets.

This share has always looked dodgy and still is and that is why I sold out for 0.06p. Too soon at the time but a profit is a profit.

Its because its listed in US$. The only one that deals online is TDW as far as I am aware. Think the phone only issue has put people off, but some nice movement and decent sized buys recently

Not with Barclays anyway.
