19/1/2006 11:38 | Share price starting to recover after markdown. I am reminded of WS Atkins which rejected an offer round 110p I think a couple of years ago and is now six times that figure. Teesland has a very profitable formula somewhat similar to that of Macquarie the co trying to buy LSE. | njl53
19/1/2006 11:11 | ouch...... | chester
19/1/2006 09:46 | No. Teesland Advantage Property Income Trust is buying the Topps property portfolio, said to be worth £79m, from Teesland. They are paying £1 for it, repaying its loan from Teesland (£5.4m), and taking on other debt of £76.75m. So it looks to me as though the trust is effectively paying £82.15m for property worth £79m, which seems to be better news for Teesland shareholders than for the unitholders. | diogenesj
19/1/2006 07:34 | Am I reading the RNS right? They are paying £5.4m for a portfolio of properties worth what £69m?Cant be right surely | nurdin

07/1/2006 11:49 | cheers maxk. The trades over the last few sessions certainly seem to indicate that things are hotting up.Also noticed a 100k buy yesterday at 104p.. 2p above offer. | nurdin
07/1/2006 10:18 | Markets The Times January 07, 2006 Rumour of the day Teesland, the property fund manager, ticked up 8p to 100p on rekindled whispers that long-running bid talks, first disclosed in September, are nearing fruition. Although Royal Bank of Scotland has been cited as a front-runner, yesterday's gossip put forward Standard Life Investments, which has £9 billion invested in property through 11 funds, as the likely buyer. The mooted take-out price is 130p. | maxk
06/1/2006 16:57 | I think a subsidery of RBS may merge to make a separate entity. RBS has inherited a subidery arm from Hallifax, it makes strategic sense to merge that Hallifax property investment business with TLD. That would add more liquidy to the new merged entity and speculative stock price of TLD could exceed £1.40 per share. | wwweternalfitnesscom
06/1/2006 15:59 | Heard that a number of warm scottish investors have bought in....... | charlie100
06/1/2006 14:38 | yup...rumours of 125p bid by RBS beginning to look believeable :o) | nurdin
06/1/2006 14:07 | Does look as if something might be about to happen at last... | diogenesj
06/1/2006 13:47 | Bought a few today. Looks interesting..... | chester
04/1/2006 16:42 | I'm watching closely to the normal trading volumes and am looking for clues of possible takeover activites. Market maker stocks are hard to trade. | wwweternalfitnesscom
04/1/2006 15:20 | Over one million shares traded today as at 15 20. | njl53
15/12/2005 12:43 | i don't think Royal Bank of Scotland will make an offer, there is a better strategic fit elsewhere. | wwweternalfitnesscom
08/12/2005 22:35 | Bring it on. This is getting boring. :-) | diogenesj
07/12/2005 07:51 | Guardian Today Teesland, the property and fund management group, improved 0.5p to 95p amid talk of an imminent 120p-a-share offer from Royal Bank of Scotland. | charlie100
05/12/2005 22:38 | Solid volume buying in the late afternoon pushing TLD up on what's been a down day for the markets as a whole. | sandbank
26/11/2005 16:51 | Glad I held onto mine.I think the talks were at a brink of collapsing not long ago but seem to have been revived as other interested parties started to circle the morsel :o) | nurdin
26/11/2005 13:18 | Ah, you've done it already. Well done, much better. Perhaps you should post a link on the other thread? | diogenesj
26/11/2005 13:16 | Please do, sandbank, and let's hope the offer comes soon and we don't need it for long. | diogenesj |
