08/12/2014 17:47 | It's amazing that this article in the Economist appeared just when the POO was at it's lowest on that graph below (in the orange circle). Who would have thought what would have happened next ;-) | stockriser
28/11/2014 20:32 | anyone know if this shale area is profitable at 60 buck oil ? just asking cos have seen that a decent chunk of US shale producers will be getting wiped out if oil price stays close to 60bucks for a few months... | belisce6
28/11/2014 18:48 | There will be a name change coming soon no doubt!! | tommygriff
28/11/2014 16:43 | Good point Stockriser. In the event that Great Bear have oil shows with their drills, particularly the prospect close to Icewine, that should give our share price some momentum. As I have said there is plenty of mileage for next year. Tangiers is at rock bottom and can only go in one direction for me. Onwards and Upwards. | paulvanhan
28/11/2014 16:07 | Paul - I think the fact that adjacent drilling will begin in Jan 2015 combined with..... Excellent fiscal terms and tax incentives: • Low cost exploration and drilling with up to 85% of costs reimbursed • Manageable funding via mezzanine funding facility linked to tax incentives Basically a win win situation... ;-) | stockriser
28/11/2014 15:13 | I off-loaded the majority of my shares after all the boardroom shenanigans earlier in the year. However I kept a holding equivalent to around £5k cost price which got wiped out after the Moroccan duster. I've just re-visited Tangiers after todays Investor Presentation. The Icewine Project definitely has some mileage but will need patience with drill not happening until 2016. I'll look to top-up over next 3-6 months to get my average cost down to around 5p per share. At least it gives me a fighting chance of recouping my investment. I will interested to hear what other posters in a similar position think of the latest developments although I'm sure some will say its ' good money chasing bad ' | paulvanhan
28/11/2014 14:52 | How much cash do they have going forward after Morocco and the placing? | tommygriff
28/11/2014 07:37 | Yep impressive presentation. Maybe this is really the Tangiers turn around | kirk 6
28/11/2014 07:30 | Molatov - yes does look encouraging, I think a top-up is in order ;-) | stockriser
28/11/2014 07:18 | Very interesting presentation on the website. Puts some meat on the bones of this one and looks very encouraging. | molatovkid
22/11/2014 13:34 | I'd take the farm-in as a possibility with TPET - I also wonder if we are reaching a bottom for commodities.. So as a punt - I've built a small stake. | tomboyb
22/11/2014 12:32 | How is it going to be paid for ? From the last RNS: *Excellent fiscal terms, with cash rebate of up to 85% of exploration expenditure Also Great Bear Petroleum who were one of the first onto Alaskas North Slope area, did a deal with Haliburton to get the drilling going. I would imagine Tangiers might do something similar.....farm out and get a free carry on the exploration costs. | molatovkid
21/11/2014 11:20 | The definitive list of AIM companies about to go bust: Tangiers (skint) IRG (skint) Tower (skint) Sefton (crooks and skint) KEA (skint) NEW (shower of crooks and skint) Range (skint) London Mining (went bust on 16th Oct) Ultrasis (set to delist very soon) JLP added to list 16/10/2014 | travls
21/11/2014 11:00 | How is all this going to be paid for? Currently there are 200m new shares plus 12m new options issued below current price to get through. It's a good move long term, but there's a long way to go, and billions of new shares to come. At the moment it's just letting the placees and new option holders out with a profit. 21/11/2014 09:38 | hxxp://www.alaskajou 'Major North Slope producers also bid on leases in the Beaufort and areawide sales. ConocoPhillips won some Beaufort leases, but did not grab all of the North Slope areawide lease it bid on. The major bid was in conjunction with Chevron and ExxonMobil for one lease in the areawide sale, which the companies won as the sole bidder. ConocoPhillips and Anadarko also jointly bid other leases, and were outbid by 70 and 148 LLC on some. Other winning bidders included Burgundy Xploration (Tangiers Partner), Great Bear Petroleum Ventures 2 and Woodstone Resources. Chevron and Exxon also jointly bid on a lease with ConocoPhillips, for which they were the only bid' | molatovkid

20/11/2014 08:18 | Amazing how these tin pot companies reinvent themselves every few years. Still I should think it's steady living for some or should I say the elite few. It's a dirty job and someone's got to do it. | ringosstar
20/11/2014 08:16 | great news i can see a massive re rating from here ;) imo | anrows
