13/3/2014 11:57 | Looks like everyone's in and the doors been put on the chain until results. | yump
07/3/2014 14:31 | Anyone who's going to buy in substantially now would wait for the results IMO as Yump saysReally looking forward to these figures M | minuteman
06/3/2014 15:46 | That would mean investors looking back instead of forwards though, which would be odd. A bit of looking back at interims is normal, but after full year its the outlook statement for the next year that will drive the price. Mainly because in practice, if you were acquiring the company you'd pay for some future earnings, not past. Some folk are looking way ahead with some shares. I'll settle for a year. Its a reasonable market. ...and its not exactly going bonkers before results. | yump
06/3/2014 14:45 | 20% growth is good, though its broadly in line with the share count - I'm therefore a bit concerned that the share price will come off considerably when the results show that at EPS level things are flat | adamb1978
06/3/2014 14:12 | You're right, there must have been a hit second half. 20% is pretty good as an overall figure then, as the second half expenses are basically setting up for this year. Take them out and and last year would have looked pretty dramatic. Cost of sales on the last lot of results seems to be dropping as a % of sales, so if the op. expenses don't keep rising, 2014 could be the year when it all fits together nicely. | yump
06/3/2014 13:44 | Trading update is good in general however the 20% does imply that operating profit in H2 fell to perhaps £0.5m from £1.47m in H1 I am guessing though that this is as a result of the following part of the TU: "We have recruited much of the talent required to fuel the growth expected in the forthcoming year" Also by only growing by 20%, it means that EPS will be, at best, flat on last year due to the increased share count.... | adamb1978
06/3/2014 13:29 | Patience Timothy ! ;) | loafingchard
06/3/2014 12:22 | Not many shares traded so far on that positive update. Boys and girls, I think TNG is under the radar but almost too far under the radar. Come on TNG give me instant gratification! That's the world we live in. | simon42
06/3/2014 10:30 | Lovely jubbly , the recovery continues , just need a big pullback now to fill me boots . Well done TNG and all holders . | loafingchard
06/3/2014 09:17 | A great update, just what was required. :-) | cfro
06/3/2014 09:10 | Very good update and should really be set up for the year ahead and beyond. | hastings
06/3/2014 08:28 | Delighted with the TU this morning :-) | cheshire man
06/3/2014 08:13 | Profits ahead...as predicted in my post last week ;-) Well done to all at Tangent! Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
06/3/2014 07:37 | If I've got my very brief figures right that's a 10% revenue increase over last year, with a 20% op profit increase. So while the economy continues to pick up, it should gear up nicely on the print side. Plus next year's forecasts should get raised and focus will be on those very soon. | yump
06/3/2014 07:05 | TRADING UPDATE Profits AHEAD OF expectations for the full year Tangent (AIM: TNG), announces that its underlying operating profit for the full year to 28 February 2014 will be ahead of current market expectations. The business continues to be cash generative and net cash will be approximately GBP2.6m at the period end. The economy is picking up and we start our new financial year with confidence. 05/3/2014 17:22 | I got most of tmmg in mid 30's on average. I think either my price but most probably technical alert got me on to them but the fundamentals sold me. I meant to buy TNG sub 10p but 'life' and earning money got in the way. I don't think I'm too late. This is a Zulu stock imo. | simon42
05/3/2014 17:11 | Maybe my buying on Monday didn't help keeping a lid on the ask. I also own some TMMG, but arrived at my buying decision a slightly different way. I placed them on my watchlist last November after the very good interim results, with a view to buy some when the technical's became stronger. But I then took my eye off them, until saucepan gave me a nudge, so thanks to saucepan for waking me up from my slumber :o) Trading update soon? ic2... | interceptor2
05/3/2014 14:54 | Keep bidding fella's ;) | loafingchard
05/3/2014 14:05 | Cfro- How funny, I could have made the same post as you. I've been buying TNG and tracking it after TMMG reminded me to look at my favourite illiquid small caps. I've not got much TNG because they were tough to buy in even smallish size. Maybe we've been bidding the ask up. :-) | simon42
05/3/2014 13:36 | Good to see the share price doing well again today. I have been buying in over the last couple of days. My interest in TMMG got me re-looking here as i have had TNG on my watchlist for quite a while. | cfro
05/3/2014 08:03 | 11.5p to buy in size. | battlebus2
04/3/2014 20:10 | I do like the private punter. He sums up the case here very well imv. | battlebus2
04/3/2014 14:25 | Another good performance today, maybe they will update tomorrow. | battlebus2
04/3/2014 10:26 | Yes hard to get hold of many of these saucepan,,,,,,,,,,, dashton42 yes it is an interesting site and I've spent to much time reading it this morning when I should be digging my veg. patch over ready to put my potatoes in :-( | cheshire man |
