Hello battlebus,

Nice to see a familiar 'face'.
Been in here since 2005/2008 (two purchases).
'twas my b-i-l's tip; he worked for one of the forerunner companies.
Just shy of break even now!

Odd share at times with the volumes - seems to have big volumes with not much price action and then smaller ones shift it.

Could be an update in the morning if last year is anything to go by. Seems to be a bit of buying interest this morning.

Great summary GHF..

GHF I forgot about the tax increase - thanks for posting. So potentially cheap this year, rather than very cheap and then getting cheaper all the time, assuming they benefit from continuing cyclical recovery + organic growth.

I'm hoping for a reversal of the double whammy earnings drop + rating drop that happened a few years ago ! Theoretically it should work both ways.

12.7p seems an odd price to me. It fits with resistance/support from ages ago, but it would leave the chart for the last few years looking odd and incomplete, especially since the last several rises have been about 50%.

0/T IDEA has held up well.

Well some of us are/were looking to accumulate. Tick up suggests the particular seem of stock dried up towards the close today.

Canaccord retain a 12.7p target price and indicated at time of H1 results that TNG was significantly undervalued in comparison to peers Vistaprint and Shutterfly who at that stage were valued c.125% higher on an EV/EBITDA basis.

Today marks the completion of FY 2014 with 0.59p dil. EPS forecast for year gone.
It is worth reminding that the tax charge is forecast to rise to 33% for H2 to produce normalised rate of 28% for FY 2014 and therefore not a simple case of simply looking at H1's dil EPS 0.39p and simply x 2.

However I believe the company will exceed this target and that forecasts of 0.78p and +33% earnings growth for FY 2015 (PER 11.8) will be upgraded in due course given the continuing UK recovery underpinning all business areas; growth in digital communications benefitting Tangent Snowball; reduction in CAPEX & full integration of Goodprint providing improved margins not to mention Ravensworth benefitting from cyclical nature and improvement in UK property market.

The company should also finish FY 2014 with c.£3m net cash, decent cash generation and dividend yield c. 2.2%

Looks a decent investment proposition.

All IMHO.

Regards,
GHF

Looking at the sells today, the price held up relatively well. Could it be that someone or a fund is quietly accumulating stock?

I think you're right. Don't want to count chickens, but a lot of things look like they are converging positively.

The only negative is that its probably not that trendy or followed that much, so if there's a re-rating it might take a while.

On the other hand I've had 'sleepy' companies before that take off.

yump - less scientifically but still a positive IMO, I believe the company still has funds for buying back shares.

From 1st March their employees are going to be allowed to buy £150/month shares in an employee share incentive scheme - with an initial chunk of £1500 allowed in March.

If I was a director of TNG I'd want this scheme to get off to a good start by doing my best to see the share price rises at least in the early days. Therefore I'd hold off using company funds to buy back shares, and therefore increasing the price, until after my employees had got their initial £1500 allocation.

Might be rubbish but added to the buoyant housing, and therefore estate agent market, +ve trading statement and recent deal signed, TNG is starting to look decidedly cheap in my view.
