Thanks hab, nice to know you're doing well and stop losses do have their uses, well done. Vog was an excellent investment for you as I know you were one of the early birds.

64bit, I think they have said their admin costs are too high for the size of the company (pre PDN), so the larger it becomes, provided we seem the same team and not any big manning expansions, then further expansion would mean the admin catches up with the requirement. .

hab, i started by saying i thought it was strange that tag didn't post the egm notice on their website.. and went on to say that i would value a period of consolidation rather than further aquisition. we know about the outstanding warrants already booked, so to think that 15m wouldn't be sufficient from now until end of f/year does cause a level of anxiety. tag have already stated that their admin charges are too high and need reducing, a situation not helped by further expansion. as holders, i'm sure we would value some cash in the 'in column' rather than more expenditure..

I would think the company are taking a long term view. 5 years down the road they want this to be a mid size company. Short term they need to prove to the market that they can turn potential into revenue. If they achieve this the share price will be a lot higher. Further growth will come from aquisition so some dulution is inevitable.

64 bit ive no problems with them converting if it enhances what the overall picture is. they are not going to convert if they have no plans are they? wheres the big problem here? i cant see it

64bit: 1/3 dilution isn't a nice surprise You wonder whether some people should really be invested in the stock market if they can't figure stuff like this out, ie. an increase in the authorised share capital.

64bit... motion 3 is to up the share capital, item 4 seeks authority for these shares to be issued by the directors...... so presumably it gives them more flexibility for deal making

still think it's a bit naughty not putting it up on their site, if i were cynical i'd say that it was deliberate as most of the pi's deal on nominee basis nowdays. 1/3 dilution isn't a nice surprise - we could do with a 1/3 consolidation, updates from tortugas and 1x before we start on the acquisition trail again. pp, when people digest this - without knowing the reason - do we need guess which direction will share price will head..

No doubt they have something on their shopping list, and if the chance comes and the price is right, they might be shopping again, like the PDN deal, where the got 100m$ worth of fields and pipeline for about 25m$, and I hope they can keep doing deals like that :)

tgg, does the notice give the reason for the increase to 200m ? bit naughty to not have posted it on their site .. or as r+j asks, anyone go to the agm who can shed any light ??

There was an EGM notice, maybe you hold your shares in a nominee a/c? The motion was to increase the authorised share capital by a third to 200 mill shares

note "increase in the authorised share capital". no mention in the 26jun annual review doc where the name change is proposed and egm called. they must have issued an egm notice and list of resolutions, somewhere.. another 'consideration for services' ?? edit: unless relating, in a broader sense, to the pdn deal, which is paid in cash and not stock anyway, hmmm...
