22/3/2016 08:18 | And so we hit resistance at 90. What's going to happen here? L2 is stacking up nicely. Almost no sellers this morning. I've read the whole RNS in detail this morning and whilst I'm really disappointed they didn't lift the dividend a bit it's clear it's coming. Turnover up, order book up. cash up, even the pension deficit is in a better place than I expected. Only things left of any concern is the level of pension deficit and tbh at this level of underlying profitability that's not going to be a concern. Oh and the intangible assets remain too high for my liking but that's not uncommon these days and in any event has no cash impact | cc2014
22/3/2016 07:57 | Everything great except no dividend increase. I'm a bit disappointed. | cc2014
22/3/2016 07:52 | Cracking results. Ahead on revenues, profit, EPS. Net cash much better than last year. | gargoyle2
21/3/2016 13:32 | Had less speculative buying ahead of news as on previous 2 or 3 occasions, still expecting a definitive move into 90's and beyond. | ivancampo
21/3/2016 13:04 | The bid appears to be being walked up today slowly and carefully as someone tries to get stock. Finals tomorrow - they aren't getting mine | cc2014
18/3/2016 21:23 | I concur with the case that the share is undervalued and this is my biggest holding. I too strongly believe we will see a very strong pickup in margins next week and further cash generation over and above that created by flow through of profits alone. But, we have a £2.6m asset writedown to deal with (should be in the price as reported months ago) and I can't see the pension scheme deficit improving. Also, and how can I put this, I would imagine that throughout the recession I expect the company has become quite aggressive in valuing the profit element on work in progress. I expect they are winding this back now to give themselves a bit of room to maneuver if they have a bad project, so this may hold things back a little too. I'm not sure about the dividend. I'm thinking they might want to go improve the balance sheet a bit more before getting too free with the dividends. I'm looking at more like 3.0p for the finals, 1.0p for the half year and then the dividends can start to accelerate fast. Just a matter of timing and how the directors position things. I have high hopes if not at these finals, then six months down the road. | cc2014
15/3/2016 10:33 | Ivan - think we are going to need more than a "positive outlook" to shift the share price. Higher margin turnover needs to come through onto the P&L in a significant way. Any delay in 2016 and the bull story begins to look flaky.Personally I think it will happen this year and looking fwd to next week figs. | sspurt
15/3/2016 10:09 | Week to go until results, expecting a test of 90 soonish in anticipation, anyone expecting news confirming positive outlook to take through £1? | ivancampo
09/3/2016 12:06 | Seems to have bounced off the uptrend line with ease this morning | cc2014
09/3/2016 05:55 | Uptrend since the start of last year still intact, imo. Results just 2 weeks away. | gargoyle2
08/3/2016 19:25 | Bit disappointing that someone keeps selling day after day faster than the market wants to buy. I had hoped for more given strength of FTSE | cc2014
22/2/2016 14:31 | Sitting on nice support here, imo. I've just topped up. Expecting an advance towards 90p soon enough. | gargoyle2
04/2/2016 22:10 | Share price consolidating in this area, with volume good. Seems to be a few sellers requiring 77/78 to sell. Hopefully they will be exhausted soon and we can move on to tackle resistance at 90. Edit: should read 87/88 of course | cc2014
20/1/2016 07:07 | Count me in with those 5, CC2014. I've held here for a while, but really think that 2016/17 will be the time this share really comes good. I have a 140p price target for this year. I keep looking back to the November IMS, which talked of the board's increasing confidence that there would be 'a material increase in operating margin' during 2016 and 2017. I've actually been buying more around this level. | gargoyle2
19/1/2016 21:10 | I know I'm only talking to about 5 other people but I love this share. I also have no intention of selling in the near future so nothing I say makes any difference anyway. Things looking really good. The price is knocking at 90 again where it seems some sellers are appearing. I guess they see this as top of the recent range and are happy enough to take that. Mostly the trades seem indicative of PI's selling. | cc2014
15/1/2016 09:54 | The most significant words are the last two "acceptable margins", as in "focus on tendering for work at acceptable margins". The tide seems to have turned for the company. | profdoc
15/1/2016 07:17 | Looks like everything going to plan. I had hoped for a greater improvement in the order book but £19m improvement in net cash since half year is astonishingly good. | cc2014
14/1/2016 19:54 | Tomorrow could be interesting. Someone was keen enough to buy 10k at 91.0 just before the close. I will watch the trading statement with interest | cc2014
14/1/2016 04:56 | Also worth noting the RNS snuck out after hours on Tuesday, showing that three directors (as well as a load of employees) had exercised options recently. Assuming they don't go ahead and sell the shares (which we would know about, at least with the directors), that could suggest that they all think the stock price is good value at the moment -- and about to rise? Certainly suggests general confidence in the business imo. First time we've seen the directors putting their hands into their pockets for shares for a while. | gargoyle2
13/1/2016 19:41 | Chelverton selling a few at 90.0 - not surprising as they are a amall company dividend focussed trust and dividend yield here has been falling as the rest of the market falls apart. More buying today especially into the close. Someone definitely wants in before the interim statement. Fingers crossed | cc2014
12/1/2016 11:15 | Sorry trading statement this Friday | cc2014
12/1/2016 10:51 | Scheduled for Fri 15th - big trades at 90p after hours yesterday, hence the move up, chart looks exciting. | ivancampo |
