Use the drop to top up. Buy size limited to just 2000 by mm. They are just trying to shake the tree.

Good luck to him. The shares are probably due for a pause, especially after this sale, but I am inclined to hold on because the longer term growth story is still intact.

Saw that - got a freebie through the post. Good article and makes some important points about the longer term growth prospects.

Nice piece in "The Momentum Investor", December issue.

"We first tipped SYR at its float and it has paid off spades. That said, the shares have a lot more mileage for those willing take a 2-3 year view, particularly as its burgeoning cashflows are more than capable of financing a much more aggressive aquisition programme."

Never sell a rising share is my view, noshy. Sold my Topps Tiles a long time ago on valuation grounds, and look at them now. And please don't talk to me about Majestic.

Seriously, I think a company like this, doing a great job in a rapidly growing market and effectively recession-proof, is worth a considerable premium. The IC is not often right, but it's right about this one. Even so, I'm not sure I would be a buyer at this price - but plenty of people are: ex-dividend today, but up another 7.5p.

Yes - I think it is probably because it featured in an Investor's Chronicle article on Friday called 10 Aim Super Stocks ("we find 10 stock market super-heroes, and explain why you should consider adding these shares to your portfolio").

The ten shares were:

Connaught
Hardman Resources
Inter Link Foods
Lawrence
Majestic Wine
Mears
NWF
Pipex
Spice
Synergy Healthcare

All good shares of course, but whether now is the time to buy them at their current prices is another matter. However, the article has given most of them a considerable boost.
