Are we waiting for more share buy back news?

(It has been alleged elsewhere that the BoD need to award themselves more shares as a Bonus?).

Tick tock, roll on 2017.
No SLP news and not much to get excited about before those Xmas party pieces.

It must be time for us to hear some jingling $$$ 'echo' sounds.

This share price is flatlining and maybe the BoD are now getting ready for their Xmas party piece.

How about a special webcast present for the PI natives?

We need an Alma moment but all I see is a stagnant share price plus those ' falling of the cliff lamas' ......

SLP can produce platinum tailings cheaper than JLP via 'project echo', but the messenger is still silent.

'closed due to unforeseen circumstances'????

I added another 50% to my holding at 7.75p ... half-way to doubling my holding as of this morning. Platinum chart not looking great, so definitely not a trade ... but just positioning for the eventual dividend (my calculations tell me it is on a great yield looking forward)

Thought the AGM was on Friday 18th yet no AGM statement from the Company. Not expecting anything of interest but maybe shareholders from this BB flew out to Bermuda to quiz the directors and can give us a report! ;)

It's odd that the share price has remained depressed after good results.Are the mms playing the short term traders up and down the hill, like the grand old Duke of York? The sharemarket is a very strange phenomenon imho.

That was a £32,000 buy order.
Could they know something is about to happen?


Tracking a spread betting group as well.
They indicated this share price is about to go higher.

Someone must hedge those large spread bets to reflect in this Market share price
But could it be a delayed or hidden response?

Yes, use social media and get your message across (good or even bad).
Just look at the Trump twitter effect. Interact and inform, it works.
Use all the new media tools you have and don't become yesterdays dinosaur.

How many of this BoD know how to use twitter or even fully use a smart phone?
Now that is a question that could be asked at the AGM.
You may have the best product in the world, but if nobody knows about it, who cares.

Wake UP call......This business is not rocket science.

Boystown

1. There would have been tax advantages when this was first set up (and UK corporation rates for large companies much greater than current).
2. It does mention dividends and might well pay out if POP obliges.
3. The directors do hold shares
4. ?
5. With project echo, the project lifespan is 10/15 years- see presentation
6. The mkt cap does not reflect the achievement. Last year, management delivered stonking savings on costs and overheads and a ROCE that any of the other CEOs in the platinum space would drool over.

Ultimately, if the mkt cap does not reflect the value, it will get taken over.

The message for this company is so simple, but it does not seem to be out there in the market place. Your mistake re the remaining life exemplifies the problem.

In a busy world, Alma needs to get the message out to prospective purchasers such as yourself.

Dan thinks that webcasts are the way forward and the wider social media opportunity should be seized.

Ask the company secretary to raise your questions at the AGM this week.
Send them an email and see if you get a response.
They need waking UP, IMO.

Bermuda - a nice 'jolly' for some . Hide your money from those prying eyes...
Keep knocking up those air miles ...

SLP could be a nice place to hide some retirement cash for a few of the 'old SA mining investors' ? PIs hold a major slice of their AIM shares now, but they seem to carry on as though major IIs are still most important.
Now is their hidden share power base really transferring ??

Yes this Mcap is just TOO LOW. But the share price is what it is......

We are still waiting for a maiden dividend after HOW many years?....

I'm genuinely tempted by SLP but have a number of concerns which I'd love any posters to be able to put my mind to rest on, namely:

1. It's registered in Bermuda - why is that?
2. It's never paid a dividend nor made reference to an intention to do so (despite #6 below)
3. The directors have no stakes to speak of
4. The directors also haven't bought shares - even in small quantities
5. The mine would appear to have roughly a two-year lifespan?
6. The CEO was paid $543k last year - not far off 2% of the mkt cap

I realise a lot of these factors don't exactly make SLP unique when it comes to AIM-listed miners, but they are deterrents and any feedback would be appreciated.

Just about to buy another 50,000 as it dips.
Watching that spread as well.

One week to go before the AGM so Alma should be getting their act together.
That air miles balance will also look good. :)

Alma PR company don't seem to have achieved much, so far. A dividend would be better PR I reckon. Roll on 2nd qtr results and interims.

This is basically an share price oversold, tailings company which is waiting for the license to mine at Volspurit.
Other projects are now on the backburner.
The tailings are from different locations. Check out the SLP annual report on its web site, it provides all of the details.
Still waiting for news of a maiden dividend....
Just examine the lowly Mcap and its income streams.

It looks like that 100,000 seller is back.


Buying on the dips, so come on MMs give us some more bargains.
AGM soon and possibly some Alma action???
