02/8/2016 12:53 | It'll be over $10 by the end of September | gotabsirius
02/8/2016 12:26 | 'The Group cash balance at 30 June 2016 was $6.7 million' - hardly cash strapped !! | caledoniaman1
02/8/2016 10:44 | Platinum is up twice as much as gold this morning. The chart shows a break out of platinum versus gold, going back several years! All to the good, here. | dogberry202000
02/8/2016 10:31 | rbento - cash isn't a problem for me or the company. Would you like to elaborate? | spooky
02/8/2016 10:01 | Not one to be snoozing and losing on - ? !! | caledoniaman1
01/8/2016 16:15 | These look much too cheap to me, why are Audley and Miton selling, what am i missing? | spooky
01/8/2016 12:34 | Dan The tax is paid in arrears and so the explanation is to be found in last years accounts (2015) under note 5. Look at the accounts for the full explanation, including the rate used of 28%, but the edited version is as follows. 5. INCOME TAX 2015 Major components of tax expense for the year ended 30 June 2015 Income tax recognised in profit or loss Current income tax: Current income tax charge 2,580,653 It is quite normal for tax on company profits to be paid in 1 lump, during the following year, so nothing untoward here. 01/8/2016 09:32 | It looks like they are moving their profits around. Balancing their books? Clearing up any possible problems. IMO this is being organised for a 'hidden' reason. Getting ready for retirements or something more dramatic?? Did anyone notice that $2.6m income tax payment? 6 months ago it was $0.8m. Lets see how they explain that in the annual accounts in a few weeks time. Platinum heading UP and this share price is at standstill despite all of the SDO outputs going UP. Grasvally and Volspurit all at standstill and not priced in yet. Those statements look like a 'copy and paste' from the past. So that lowly Mcap is at £22m approx. It is time to shake off the day traders, then watch some longer term action IMO. ('Liber'umpting). GLA. | dandadandan
29/7/2016 21:55 | Maybe due to ramping but most can form their own opinion. I have held and built SLP since Oct 2011so a bit of hype over a month or two of excitement has very little effect on me. I will continue to hold and will sell at a profit (maybe) one day. | koolio
29/7/2016 20:32 | No, it was a reaction to this ramper's ramping.. mick113 28 Jul'16 - 15:08 - 420 of 470 2 0 Moving up now nicely, results tomorrow should get the rocket started! | donald trumpton
29/7/2016 18:16 | Platinum up 31% in past 6 months, Paladium up 42% in past 6 months. Can't believe the share price reaction to those figures, or was it just a reaction to the figure recorded as tax? | koolio
29/7/2016 17:28 | Most insighful comments, Inside Target, onhow SLP have been reporting accounts. The institutions probably were aware that in reality the figures from the quarter before last would be reported and this would be poorly received by retail investors. I'm sure that these funds will have begun rebuilding their positions knowing that the figures for the next two quarters will include the rise in the value of platinum. There aren't many quality platinum plays out there but you can include SLP is one of them. I' d say that this will be a multi bagger before the end of the year, | dogberry202000
29/7/2016 15:39 | PGMs absolutely flying. | on target
29/7/2016 14:55 | you are Donald with a name like that | eye2
29/7/2016 13:10 | Are you taking the mick? | donald trumpton
29/7/2016 12:57 | Level 2 looking strong for moving up in the afternoon IMHO | mick113
29/7/2016 12:32 | On the up! Target basket price will increase next QTR results. | mick113
29/7/2016 12:14 | Looked at the previous 2 quarters and the apparent discrepancy is there also, so I would guess the difference is the smelting costs and any penalties, and therefore completely expected and normal. | on target
29/7/2016 11:32 | I agree, its clearly not quite as simple as that. | on target
29/7/2016 11:30 | Thanks On Target. Last quarters they noted $860 BP on 14905 ounces...$12.8m. But this quarter we are $2.2m lower by your logic. This is a big discrepancy for us. The company needs to be much clearer and transparent as there are a lot of disappointed investors out there at the moment. I dont think many investors (including me) know how we are getting the revenue numbers and therefore cashflow generation. | randowiggum
29/7/2016 11:15 | Think its due to this, i.e. there is a 3-month delay in receiving the revenue for this month's production, so the revenue reported (which is the one lower than it should be if you multiply production oz x basket price) presumably reflects the last quarters production not this one. " 1 The gross basket price reported is the total estimated price for deliveries made in the quarter and does not include any penalties or smelting costs. The actual net basket price received is only determined in the invoicing month which is three months after the delivery month, prior quarter adjusted for actual prices received if necessary." | on target
29/7/2016 10:57 | A good point. I thought the operations would have generated a lot more operational cash also. I sold out this morning as the risk that Miton start selling again putting the pressure on the shares after these results is too high for me. | randowiggum |
