22/10/2010 07:24 | SLV - I am expecting news on the AQP JV with the October update and I think once thats signed we can get the stuff to market pretty quick and start earning extra revenue. Anyway nice to see a tick up today. IG markets phone only on CFD and is SLV back on the up. | abudhabitrader
22/10/2010 07:15 | has this been tipped again? | turbotrader2
22/10/2010 05:18 | Good Morning, I don't think the end of September Quarter update due by end of this month will say anything new; it'll be January that is the turning point with Lannex fully complete and all other ramp ups finalised. What investors should be looking for is a 30% increase in production numbers to just over 10K per quarter, rising to 12.5K ounces end 2011. I think it's on slide 25 which shows a realistic target for production with Volspruit is around 24 months away, however the underpinning factor is the 50% increase in production from now through to end 2011...although I believe there's other news along the way as Everest North I believe will be quicker than planned. More interesting, I suspect there will be a slide first thing judging by the ASX (Australian Stock Exchange) Today might be an opportunity to open the odd CFD / Spreadbet in my view...then again, apparently it's not the done thing :-). 21/10/2010 19:18 | Hey guys!--Read the bullish outlook for Platinum in Shares magazine out today!!--Just think of what effect it will have on SLV's shares when the price of Platinum takes off!-these shares are ridiculously cheap at the moment and when more people wake up to this fact hopefully we will see the long awaited bounce in SLV shares guys!--watch this space!!--LOL--Strong Buy !! | blueyes2
20/10/2010 08:36 | It just crossing the i's and dotting the t's LOL. Its got to be good news that we are taking 100% of ownership of our plants just as we are hitting record production. As someone rightly pointed out that does not include the ramping up of the Lannex so expect a lot more record production rns. We will get further details on the qtr update due on or before 28th October which will clarify things on a few fronts or maybe even have a bolt on RNS. | abudhabitrader

20/10/2010 06:41 | Pomp, as was declared in a previous RNS to cover admin requirements of the SamancorCr deal. Expect a downtick if it mirrors the ASX.SLV. Hope that helps Fraser | fjp73

19/10/2010 11:56 | Got to agree on the patience front although I think thats SLV problem at the moment that its become a long term play and Id say we wont see a takeover in the next few months. Not saying that value wont be added but short termers are seeing better offers elsewhere. I sold out at 56p not that I dont love the SLV story but had something more pressing. i was going to buy in today at 49p but it went up on the news but I still think I will get my chance sub 50p this week. Any idea why SLV released the news today? Why not wait until the qtrly update. Is there a reason they wanted to stop the share slide? | abudhabitrader
19/10/2010 11:47 | May I suggest that those of you that are impatiently expecting exponential growth and thus swift share price appreciation. Sell out and move on. Because if you are short-termist you will be disappointed, given some of your reactions today, shows this as a possibility. However those of you that are willing to hold this stock for >6-24 months, will be suitably rewarded. There is a long-term story here which is also aided by the possibility of it being a takeover target. Further more given the price of platinum and the increase in production volumes their results on 29/10/10 should be share price enhancing. PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE c2i | contrarian2investor

19/10/2010 07:09 | Great news. Once the new dam is completed,Lannex production will be ramped up in short order. SLV will be firing on all cylinders in Q1 2011. | azalea
