When buying demand exceeds sellers......until then, it will stay the same, or fall if sellers are more than buyers.

Thats the way it all works.

Sweet China PLC
31 March 2008

Embargoed for 7.00am on 31 March 2008

Sweet China Plc (the 'Company' or 'Sweet China')

Interim Results for the six month period ending 31 October 2007

I am pleased to announce the results of Sweet China for the six months period to 31 October 2007. During this period management's main focus was on preparing forthe acquisition of Essential Box Confectionery Ltd ('EBCL') ('the Acquisition').
Therefore, without a trading company, the results for this interim period
include only administrative costs of the Company. The results for the six
months show a net loss of £150,000 compared to a loss of £535,000 for the 16
months period to 30 April 2007. No comparatives for the six month period are
presented due to the Company's change of accounting reference date as there are
no comparable periods.

I am now especially pleased to announce that the Company has purchased EBCL. A
circular outlining the Acquisition and the re-admission to AIM was posted to
shareholders on 31 January 2008 and the Company's shares commenced trading on 20 March 2008.

Despite the current economic climate, the confectionery industry historically
proves fairly resilient while consumers typically turn to more affordable
luxuries. The board is anticipating adding value to the EBCL acquisition.
Finally, the Company will report its first set of trading results following the
year end of 30 April 2008.

Yes he clearly has no idea. He was giving advice on the SEO thread [ another of his losers ] to some poor sod to buy into SWC. If he took the advice he will be down already. I do not know of anything DrJ has made a profit on!! DrDoom more like!! LOL!!!

I want this to surge as much as anyone, but look at China Wonder - perfectly solid company with good figures, and no-one's interested. Fingers crossed this is more of an eye-catcher.

Topvest - on your post of 22nd MArch - indeed Zulman's confectionary business did indeed 'go bust' in January (£23m business) - but what you did not mention was that it started trading the very next day with a slightly altered name (from "confectionery" to "chocolates"). The Directors planned this in Dec'07 - and all creditors have lost substantial sums of money.....with the Directors of Ashbury claiming in the Corby press that "this was an excellent move for the company". I would be very wary of persons who can do such an unethical (yet legal) thing.

Don't think I'll bother averaging down. Just wait for the news that SWC are buying Cadburys- I may break even then......
