28/1/2006 12:11 | Just a re-use by the authorities of a redundant ticker symbol. SVG was used to id Seven until they ceased to trade. When Scottish Value changed their name the authorities decided to change their ticker. Daft thing to do because you loose all related history (RNS, graphs etc.) & for what poipose? A ticker should be for life, after all it's only a friggin code. If it were a no. would they change that....nah. regards, GR | grim
16/1/2005 12:30 | Johndee, this is really confusing, 3iii are showing as under the same thread, but I have had this happen before on that site. SVM looks like an investment co in the same mould as fidelity etc, and it looks like they have taken over the svg epic? does this mean svg as we know it does not exist? SVM (SVG) Belongs to SVM Global, see below SVM Global Fund (previously known as Scottish Value Trust) Monthly review Your investment choices How to invest Aims, Objectives and Managers CV Colin McLean and Donald Robertson your SVM Global Fund Managers Colin has over 25 years investment experience and is widely regarded as one of the UK's top Stockpicking Analysts. Prior to establishing SVM Asset Management in 1990, he held senior positions with three major financial institutions. He was Head of Investment of two UK life assurers before being Managing Director of Templeton International's European operations. Donald Robertson is an accountant and previously gained eight years experience with Ivory & Sime before co-founding SVM in 1990. His fund management responsibilities include country funds, investment trusts and warrants. Profit from our investment trust stock picking skills SVM Global Fund was launched in 1991 (as Scottish Value Trust) and aims to provide investors with long-term capital growth through actively managing a portfolio of investment trusts, hedge funds and other specialist funds. The companies target index is the FTSE World Index. Since launch it has been amongst the very best trusts in its sector. Keep looking firmly ahead Successful investing comes from accurately assessing future returns. This Trust generates profits from two key sources. Firstly, we look at the calibre of the investment manager responsible for the investment trusts it invests in, backing top quality managers with proven ability to produce performance ahead of their benchmarks. Secondly, we look for discounts that we believe are too large and have the clear potential to reduce in size, releasing an extra profit to the Trust. 30/9/2004 12:48 | Monday, April 05, 2004 Littoral Airlines (Montpellier) is planning to start operations with five ex-Air Littoral ATR 42-500s out of Montpellier to Ajaccio, Algiers, Bastia, Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes, Oran and Strasbourg. | haystack
30/9/2004 12:47 | Wednesday, February 18, 2004 The Court of Commerce of Montpellier Tuesday decided the judicial liquidation of Air Littoral. This means that all the assets will be sold to pay for he debts. The 444 employees of the company and the 167 staff of a subsidiary will be furloughed. This bad news comes exactly one year after tye bankruptcy of Air Lib, another former Swissair subsidiary. The Alain Duménil, the only remaining take-over candidate, group put the blame on the Ministry of Transport that revoked the operating licence (AOC) last Friday, grounding the 17 Canadair CRJ aircraft of the company, thus eliminating almost any possibility for a take-over. | haystack
30/9/2004 12:46 | Tuesday, February 17, 2004 Alain Duménil group has given up. They will not take over Air Littoral by lack of funds to re-launch the airline after the cancellation of its operating licence (AOC) and the grounding of its planes last Friday. It is expected that the court of commerce of Montpellier will pronounce the judicial liquidation of the company later today. | haystack
30/9/2004 12:46 | Sunday, February 15, 2004 The French civil aviation authority DGAC did not renew Air Littoral's operating licence (AOC) by lack of financial guarantee from the overtaker. The planes are grounded. The court of commerce of Montpellier has given Duménil an ultimate deadline of Monday evening to obtain a new AOC. Failing that, the company will be liquidated. Passengers have been re-routed on other airlines. | haystack
30/9/2004 12:45 | Thursday, February 05, 2004 The financial group Alain Duménil, through its industrial company Filature du Favreuil, has been made the new owner of Air Littoral, by the Court of commerce of Montpellier this Thursday. The limited take-over will involve 10 CRJ planes and 292 staff (out of 17 planes and 444 workers currently) and will require a financing of 15 million euros over three years, with 7.5 million being injected immediately into the company. Duménil is active in real estate (300,000 m2 in Paris) and in fashion (Smalto, Jean-Louis Scherrer). Air Littoral in September already shed 251 employees out of a thousand and reduced iots fleet from 32 to 17 planes. The activities will continue from its two bases Montpellier and Nice, to destinations in France, Corsica, Italy and Maghreb countries. | haystack

05/6/2004 19:14 | I think you are spot on Japa, the lack of news etc must be raising some eyebrows of suspicion. I am resigned to loss on this anyway, so I would not be too surprised if this went to the wall. Good luck Japa. regards b | brad44
03/6/2004 08:15 | I, like you are wondering whats going on, they should have at least announced some results by now if not an update on where they are with the acquisition. I am surprised the Exchange is being so lenient with them, other companies would have been delisted by now! | japa

29/4/2004 01:03 | gdealsr4u; Phoned Rod Venebles of Beaumont Cornish whose firm is acting on behalf of 7Group; Informs me all is genuine; Buying into Airline rather a complicated business. Takes longer than anticipated therefore delaying trading on stock market. I asked him if 7 Group could give out some literature to share holders and he said that he would advise them. London Stock market not unduly concerned regarding 7 group suspension. The company has to correspond (as they are doing) otherwise they are removed from the market; Has anyone heard anything further.? | gdealsr4u |
