Possibly a web search on the names of the directors will reveal any other companies which they're connected with. If it's a publicly-listed company, look for the RNS items about "appointment of director", "board change" etc. which may give other information about each director as they are appointed.

Cheers Arf & 103. I use the webcheck facility in work and was wondering whether there is an easy / cheap way of finding out such info; ie if you do a search on Company A it then tells you that this business also has connections to Company Y, Company Z, etc.

There is only ONE Companies House and it contains the register of all private and public limited companies registered in the U.K. Try searching for it on google. You can look up companies by name and find their office address and a few other things.

Since all U.K. companies are registered there, and part of the legal process means that all information is public, absolutely anyone can look on the web site.

well final results are out - just over half a mill in the bank, which under the circumstances is a positive, interesting to note that they have an application out to another country - any guesses?? Also, not surprised to see comments refering to the potential for diversifying their focus.

Still, looks like we still have a company for the meantime - would be nice if we could get some more information regarding any progress in the lake areas - it was only touched upon in the report.

well inevitably we have had a pretty massive share dilution today - only to be expected and made worse by the current market - if its any consolation I see that the Cheethams have sunk £15,000 of their own cash into it and so I suppose thats a vote of confidence to some degree (that or blind faith) - wonder when the next meaningful update will be, hopefully a drilling plan is just round the corner

noted on minesite that although diamond demand/prices have actually gone up the SPs of explorers/producers have fallen broadly in line with the general commodity maliase - clearly SDS isnt producing any diamonds and so the shares like this are particularly unfashionable at the moment but what do folks think about the chances of some consolidation of similar explorers within finland? I reckon theres a fair chance we could see some partnerships/mergers in the not to distant future

I don't know why diamond explorers or producers list on the London exchanges. UK investors appear to ignore them and the MM's can't create a market.

The market appears to ignore diamonds, even when a company is producing them.

Todays RNS from KIM is a prime example

From the latest drilling results:

At Target 298, on the Company's 100% owned claims, where a ground magnetic survey has identified a bulls-eye magnetic anomaly close to a large number of high-interest kimberlite boulders, trenching failed to reach bedrock. Drilling is now required to test this target beneath the deep overburden.

Splitting the arrow IMHO would represent a double bullseye; a diamond bearing kimberlite that is economic too...

over the last while the trades arent making much sense - first there is a sell and then there is a buy later in the day for the exact same amount. This has happened pretty much every day for a while now. Is this an error in the system? anyone know what is going on here?
