I'm not selling, they seem quite desperate to get shares - I'd rather lose my holding

Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company will be held at the offices of Fieldfisher, Riverbank House, 2 Swan Lane, London, EC4R 3TT on 19 August 2014 at 11.00 a.m.

As for investors, this board will remain active. However it sounds like SAPC reaching 90% is quite likely.

thanks one day thats a practical statement. there are practical things that need to be done now.

1) Im thinking of going to the AGM where is it and at one time, Do you know, if not, how can we find out since there will be no more RNSs.

2) how do the remaining shareholders keep in contact with each other.

3) how do we keep in contact with skr and find out what their up to.

4) we cannot trade our shares now on AIM does anybody have any brokers on KAZ and if they subsequently delist from Kaz and go private how do you sell interest is it some form of pink slips.

Well done Paulb. Have you or any other holders here been contacted by this lot?hxxp://www.boudiccaproxy.com/services.html

I am sure that I must be one of many that they have approached. Interestingly they don't list SAPC as a client on their website but I wonder if one of the others listed are standing behind SAPC, ready to mine Chilsai?

I am not going to sell my holding at the price being offered on the aim by SAPC at the moment I currently hold 921220 shares held in a nominated account.

I'm sure the old guard like Mr Nazarbayev and his cronies don't really change their spots, but then the youngsters, relatively speaking, like Mynbayev, though grown up in the post-USSR era will nonetheless have picked up tricks such as secretive financial operations, lying and wealth-hoarding from their old state-marxist masters too.

Actually I've just made an offer for $50m and I'm bringing my own chemical plant. I'm very reputable and well connected, sincerely, Mr T. Blair.

Shady communist..sorry are you describing Mr Almas Mynbayev or the leader of the Kaz government Mr Nursultan Nazarbayev? ; )

Suppose the mine and milling operation were of interest to a respectable major player in this sector, who were prepared to pay SAPC a proper valuation-based market price for Temir/Sunkar (rather than let SAPC grab it all in satisfaction of their supposed debt) then, if done quickly, the minority PIs could just conceivably have a happier ending than 1.835p a share? The Kaz government would surely prefer there to be an economically-important business run by a bona fide established mining group than by this shady communist financial huckster?

Just winding you up Mr Gloop, though fully expecting you to pooh pooh such a possibility, of course......

Then the compulsory purchase will go through and SAPC will acquire the rest of the shares.

Once they reach 90% SKR will cease to be an independent company - so no AGM - nothing to do with the listing.

Surely they still have to hold an AGM, whether they're listed or not?

Yes, it is, I expect there will be an announcement by the end of the week and that the AGM will be cancelled. Very tough business people at SAPC. I don't think there is any chance of outwitting people like that. It is a sad story.

Spoke to my brokers Hargreaves Lansdown half an hour ago and they told me that acceptances had reached 89.6%, so clearly it's now all but in the bag.

never have understood you guys /gals on this thread.
the big monies were made here a few years back,i and others piled in circa 5p, sold out in the 20p's plus, that's how these stocks function, when the run is over and all concerned and pocketed their profits it's all over. FINITO !!!!!

One day they are pretty useless for apparent reasons of confidentiality they will not confirm if their is any validity to your complaint and if valid how far that complaint progressed...Helpful not.

By whom, Nurdin thought it likely but far from definite. If they could get 90% it would have already happened, with further dilution or not.

Bye bye AIM.
