A boozer in the east end would be your best option. If you didn't accept, you will be in the dissenter's register, but this doesn't give you any shareholder rights. Better off trying the small claims court here in the UK.

Gekks, whom do you broker through? I was with NatWest Brokerline, but they sold over to TD investor trading.

Augustusgloop, UK brokers would still need to be instructed by a UK directive to act upon a compulsory order. As I remember company was delisted on AIM and listed in Kazakhstan. UK Registrar was unsure if they would continue to keep a book, but have not announced otherwise. Agree these guys are crooks but don't want to make it easy for them. Want to keep my now paltry holding to see what happens. IG have kept my other spread position and are rolling it over for free as per my request. My original consideration was around £60,000.

Would be good to hear from Faza with his language translating skills to see if he can dig anything up from Kazakhstan releases!

How much does it cost to arrange for legs to be broken in Kazakh?

They don't need to RNS when they are no longer listed in the uk.

It was a scam from the very start.
All you can do is stay clear of such companies -- there is never any justice for the shareholders.

The guys running it made about £100,000,000.

Hello to anyone looking in.

I refused to sell my holding but learn that they were compulsorily purchased on 31 Jan. I can't find any RNS on this.

Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone link me to this announcement?

My intention was to continue holding until such time as Sun offloads Chilisai at huge profit and ripped-off shareholders get a chance to see some return on their theft.

you could write to the daily mail augustus, if you are sure, they will print anything like this, or the telegraph, there was a chap there doing investigations into aim frauds recently

Would you be willing to spend hundreds of thousands to seek justice in a corrupt Kazakhstan court?


SKR was about as obvious a fraud as there could ever be.

What did the FSA do when shareholders complained?
Nothing.

There is nothing that happened here that I and RED IS IN - did not point out two years ago.

It's debatable whether the compulsory purchase order is legitimate, have relied on the convertible loan note.

I have rejected the offer - Barclays say they hold the shares in my account with zero value until they are given another instruction (Their deadline for instruction was 01/09 )

Today is the last day to accept the offer. I was going to except but unfortunately the cut off for my share dealing company was 2nd September. So missed it. Not worth much now anyway.
Just wanted to know, have most of you excepted the offer or rejected it?
If you rejected the offer, to you obtain share certificates? My share dealing company held them but I never actually had the certificates. Not sure they will be available now.

I have elected to make my IG Spreads fully paid up and to see what comes. They can just sit in the bottom drawer until - I understand that they will sit dormant without incurring rollover fees.

That's possibly why they were willing to pay 1.8p.

Once it is an unlisted Kaz company - there are no such issues with appearance.

Whilst listed in the uk they had to at least pretend to be fair.

With no threat of regulators or press coverage to embarrass anybody from now on - they may instead feel free to steal the rest of your money.

They have pocketed £100m of hardworking investors money.
Why would you assume that they have any decency.

perhaps,if they have a thread of decency even if its to avoid potential problems for them down the road, to at least be able to put there hands up and say "hey we acted at all times, even if they don't mean it, and dealt with all shareholder issues in the best faith for the benefit of all stakeholders.", and not embarrass the KAZ government or not to be seen to risk any further investment from the west in the KAZ economy or any third party interest which would look badly on any such bad behaviour .
