STV PRODUCTIONS TO MAKE A NEW
SERIES OF CATCHPHRASE FOR ITV
ITV has commissioned STV Productions to make a further series of game show Catchphrase.
The new series includes 8 x 45' episodes plus 2 x 60' shows featuring celebrity contestants.
Stephen Mulhern will once again host the hit game show inviting players to 'say what they see'. The popular presenter will be joined by animated sidekick, Mr Chips.
The iconic show was revived with a brand new series in April 2013, featuring a revamped set, 3D graphics and a dynamic new end game.
The series was commissioned by Peter Davey, head of comedy entertainment, ITV.
Gary Chippington, head of entertainment at STV Productions, said: "The audience reaction to Catchphrase is stronger than ever and we are thrilled to be making another series for ITV. Viewers can look forward to some great new catchphrases to keep them 'pressing and guessing' as they play along at home."
