09/4/2010 17:52 | Hi steelwatch, could you do anything about the header on the PTR thread to make it more like this one? For some reason it stretches across about 3 x 21" monitor screens at the moment so all the following posts have to be scrolled across sideways to be read... Ta. | drewz
09/4/2010 16:59 | Bugle North drilling - results probably next month with implications for Bowmore. Crawford development plan mid year. Possible sale agreement for Turkey. | steelwatch
09/4/2010 16:50 | Any body willing to give a brief guidance re the near term developments that may have an impact on the Stratic sp! I admit to losing interest in se. over the last few months as the share price tanked. As I see Longanesi is progressing reasonably albeit seems somewhat behind schedule. I know EnQuest (demerged from Petrofac) may be interested in acquiring some of the N Sea assets from se. Their seems to be some suggestion from recent 1st Energy note that Columbus may be up for sale too. This is what I have gleaned from a quick scan through the se. bb on advfn, Ivillage. Anything else that I have missed? I guess we are due 2009 annual results some time soon? TIA to those willing to comment here. cheers | jak108

30/3/2010 18:42 | I guess it could be because it's due to close about now. But It's a bit surprising if Longanesi is the only thing creating this kind of activity since everyone knows it's a done deal. Hopefully, it's more than that. ifu | ifudrillittheywillcome
30/3/2010 18:38 | ...or a pump and dump, but can't see where it's being pumped? | steelwatch
30/3/2010 18:30 | Most likely candidate is Longanesi relief would you think? | steelwatch
30/3/2010 18:08 | Significant volume last 4/5 trading days. Can't be just the First Energy report. With assets for sale and a announced plan to acquire new assets --could be just about anything. We wait. ifu | ifudrillittheywillcome

26/3/2010 23:51 | in_flu - also from IV Msg 4817 of 4818 at 3/26/2010 11:21:18 AM by SpudsLite First Energy With the exception of assuming that Bugle is successful (a possible big mistake with recent Stratic wells)- their path to a 21 cents share price for Stratic is all financial. It includes revenues from W. Don and the sale of the Italy -Turkey and (this is the first time I saw this) the sale of the Crawford property. And, they could also sell the Bugle/Bowmore interest as well. And W.Don too for that matter. So there seems to be a path to a healthier company. Even some options relating to what is sold. What we need though - is a path to production/reserve growth. This must happen through new deals yet unmade. This management took a shot at becoming a viable No. Sea O&G company. Bad timing (economic meltdown)- bad luck has made them -re-tool. What will the new Stratic look like? Does this management have what it takes to do more than sell assets? Can they find the deals? Grow production/reserves? Those are the important questions? And those questions were not addressed in First Energy's report. | steelwatch
26/3/2010 19:55 | Any further details on the report and on what basis do they put this .21C target? Thanks | in_flu_ence
26/3/2010 16:00 | Posted on IV yesterday: New report on SE out today First Energy has initiated coverage on SE today with a .21C target (who would have ever thought I'd be excited about a .21C target. | steelwatch
26/3/2010 14:52 | EnQuest effect? | steelwatch |
