15/3/2017 10:53 | I'm hoping the end of the year report doesn't just gloss over the Altintepe 'issue'. To do so will just smack of burying bad news. | steve1905
14/3/2017 16:05 | When it comes to money , show me a totally honest man - especially when you feel you have done all the work and the contract allows you to do what you are doing. The country is full of "bankrupt" companies that were in business again in weeks while their creditors all went bust | juju44
14/3/2017 15:45 | In 27 years of running two companies I've yet to come across someone with the morals you seem to suggest everyone has!Glad I never did business with a Juju! | shortarm
14/3/2017 15:40 | I would guess Bahar dont give a fek about STI shareholders. If they have the mechanism then they will squeeze STI all they can to maximise their own gain | juju44
14/3/2017 14:43 | Bahar must surely realise that forking out doesn't have to break the bank. It would only take a modest interim payment to more than assuage Stratex and its long suffering shareholders. With a ballooning surplus in the jv account this is, imho, a possible and completely reasonable way forward. | charles clore
14/3/2017 14:28 | Exbiz - that's what I was thinking.... | shortarm
14/3/2017 13:58 | Possibly delaying while he waits further response from Bahar on cash dispersal or waiting on next set of TS drill results to put in with annuals. | exbiz
14/3/2017 13:41 | Another 160k snaffled up by someone...If it wasn't for the pesky sellers we'd have stayed at 1.75 bid yesterday... | shortarm
14/3/2017 13:30 | Looks like Marcus is a bit of a tease, keeping us waiting for these final year end results. Released last year on 9th March. | romeike
13/3/2017 12:17 | Interesting.......Li | shortarm
13/3/2017 11:55 | What was Marcus like for reporting in his previous roles? Does anyone have any links to previous reports for reference? I'm interested in trying to judge the style that might be deployed? I'd think this would be useful as we need to learn if he is naturally cautious or naturally bullish like Bob was. | blobby
13/3/2017 11:17 | I guess maybe year end update tomorrow. It will tell us the cash position but I'm not sure we will get much else out of it so not getting excited for news. | romeike
13/3/2017 08:54 | Mr 200k is back for more.... | shortarm
11/3/2017 13:33 | Cheers, Charles and ryanandbethanjones. Good Luck from here on. | luminoso
11/3/2017 07:57 | Luminoso I too have enjoyed your posts on STI over the years. Personally I think we are almost there on this somewhat tortuous journey to a potential pay day. With that and the noises coming from TS I am continuing to hold and have recently bought more. Everyone has there own rationale for buying/selling/holdi | ryanandbethanjones
10/3/2017 22:15 | Luminoso - needless to say, whatever you do with the money I wish you good fortune. | charles clore
10/3/2017 20:33 | All fair points, Charles. Thanks blobby and 5huu. Have also always enjoyed your posts. My decision was made on the basis that I think I can find a better home for the money. Consequently, the price of selling and the loss become irrelevant to the decision. I sold some higher, but overall its been a tasty loss. IMO I had a choice between buying loads more ( if I had faith in the impasse being sorted out favourably and no funding crunch being likely ) - OR selling out completely and moving it elsewhere. Time will tell. | luminoso
10/3/2017 16:02 | My thoughts also Charles. Look at the incredible increase at Herencia since they sorted their short term funding out!! | goldenshare888
10/3/2017 15:58 | Many times I have seen long term holders throw in the towel when a share languishes over a long period, only for the price to multiply within months. I know how it feels, I have done it myself. But one only has to look at the stored value here to realise that, at some point in the future, it has to be released. Even in the worst case scenario where Stratex has to raise money to continue, the Altintepe profits will still be there, safely locked away in the jv bank account. The money won't go away and furthermore will continue to grow as long as Bahar keeps mining and PM prices maintain viability of the operation. That is why I am happy to hold what I have and add on weakness. The new CEO has made it clear he is here to release shareholder value. If there was no hope I would say yes, sell now but there is a clear path forward in my view and this is not a time to be selling, certainly not at this crazy low price. But its not my money and people must do what they think is right, for them. Dyor etc. | charles clore
10/3/2017 15:43 | As echoed by many. All the best Luminoso.Seems a shame to see you go at this point, when it should really be the pinnacle of this company's short history. We can only blame the previous management for that.Let's hope our new CEO can resolve the situation and quickly.PS lots are confusing cash-flow, revenue and profit here. | 5huu
10/3/2017 14:09 | Hope you are right but US mafia just arriving and you know what they can do - if they want to | juju44
10/3/2017 14:01 | Gold found support around $1,200. | romeike
10/3/2017 13:42 | Now that is a proper spread lolThere's already been a distribution, why not the same again but bigger?? | shortarm |
