30/11/2016 11:49 | juju, I like your comment about Marcus "he is OK". That looks like high praise from you. | blobby
30/11/2016 11:01 | I'd really like to know exactly what this means: "They key for me is really getting in and getting that relationship sorted" It sounds like there is an issue, but not a major one, so I expect he refers to communication between the two partners, rather than a legal or financial dispute. | romeike
30/11/2016 10:30 | juju - I'm not saying he is a star but that he has a record of achievement for shareholders. You may well know different so please help us here. | charles clore
30/11/2016 10:28 | Charlie , I was invested with his previous company . He is not the star you keep saying but he is OK and so much better than the dross on the STI board . I will not give up yet | juju44
30/11/2016 10:25 | He seemed genuinely excited by GRL......!??! | shortarm
30/11/2016 10:23 | juju - we always knew there would be a mismatch between an unlisted private company that likes to remain under the radar and a listed one that has to report to shareholders. That is what I think Marcus means by 'sorting out the relationship'. Not so much a problem, more a realignment to ensure that shareholders are not kept so much in the dark about what's going on. As for Marcus being good at his job, a look at his past achievements should provide some reassurance. For what it's worth I think we will get our long awaited cash early 2017 when the 2016 Altintepe full year production figures and income are known. | charles clore
30/11/2016 10:12 | Of course he sounds better than Bob , who wouldnt? "sort out the relationship with Bahar " says it all . There is a problem with them and with the short mine life there could be little money ever come STI way . This guy will have to be good to make us any real money here | juju44
30/11/2016 10:03 | Not forgetting this... From 11 August 2016 Proactiveinvestors interview * output at its Altintepe gold mine in Turkey was on track to meet the annual minimum production target of 30,000 ounces * first half to end June saw 19,467 ounces produced and total gold and silver sales has led to revenue of US$32.73mln. * new clay treatment facility has proved very successful and crusher throughput now regularly exceeds 3,500tpd (tonnes per day) targeted * cash as at June 30 was £2.72m If the actual annual rate of production in June was 39k oz (2 x 19.467) and they have increased throughput to at least 3500 a day by means of the new clay circuit then I believe they could produce a minimum of 40k oz this year. | charles clore
30/11/2016 09:58 | NEW CEO - seems a VAST improvement over the old one! :) Roll on 2017..... | goldenshare888
30/11/2016 09:39 | Link above contains a very interesting interview with Marcus Engelbrecht. In fact this is the only interview I have ever seen of him. There are quite a few things that I would have liked to see in a report to shareholders directly perhaps by an RNS. For example the renewal of the Delafin licence for 3 years (I don't remember seeing this or even being aware that it was an issue). No mention of the quarterly report from Altintepe. Are interviewers given a list of questions by the company so they don't ask anything awkward? Expecting return of cash from Altintepe in the new year apparently. | blobby
30/11/2016 09:37 | Marcus says 'Expecting cash flow from our Turkish investment in the New Year'. | charles clore
30/11/2016 09:22 | Marcus (CEO) interviewed yesterday by pro active investors who write it up here: www.proactiveinvesto | blobby
30/11/2016 08:49 | Stratex International plc 'well placed going forward' says CEO Marcus Engelbrecht [...] | tailor1
29/11/2016 22:35 | What a pleasant thought | shortarm
29/11/2016 20:05 | Maybe the Goldstone core is so obviously riddled with gold that visual observations were becoming public knowledge. Hence the rns. | kingivor
29/11/2016 15:55 | Up a little every day. They say a slow rise lasts longer ! | luminoso
29/11/2016 10:48 | :))) It's: TURKEY TIME!! | goldenshare888
29/11/2016 09:02 | Seems odd to put out a RNS to announce that three holes have been drilled without any results back from the lab, unless it looks like there is something clarly there that they need to let the market know about. I've always found that visible gold does wonders for a small explorer's share price We can but hope. | georgesorrow
29/11/2016 08:17 | There may be GOLD in Goldstone's dirt after all! Closeology, the rich uncle of geology! Next-door neighbour is GIANT OBUASI SUPERPIT!! :) | goldenshare888
29/11/2016 08:12 | You're having more than just a flutter on this old bird then Flavio - good for you. | dogwalker
28/11/2016 16:38 | No failed today Charles, got just 249 752 and failed on the further £5K worth | flavio_monteiro
28/11/2016 16:15 | Flavio - with no sellers about they may have to raise the bid to meet higher limit orders. I hope you get yours. | charles clore |
