pilot, I don't think wallfly meant that - in fact I will hazard a guess that he himself does not know what he meant!

And BTW, T minus 7..........

Andy, it's normally referred to as Asset Market Value:

Asset Market Value versus Asset Book Value:
Book value and market value are two ways to value an asset. An asset’s book value can differ from its market value. Market value is the value of an asset as currently priced in the marketplace. Book value refers to the value of an asset as reported on the company’s balance sheet. However, some assets may be reported at market value on the balance sheet.

wallfly,

What do you calculate the NPV to be out of interest?

And what's your definition of "market asset value"?

It's not a term I'm familiar with, and Google hasn't heard of it either.

Going by previous, kemche, the menace is kennelled just before an RNS and then unleashed to bite at the ankles of anyone who dares to rationalise or read between the lines of the anouncement...

Waffly,
What is "market asset value"? I am a bit of a novice so you may have to explain that phrase to me.

And how are you computing the NPV? Do you not need a predictable income stream for that - as in profits?

"Why would he would rush to sell at these levels" - Why indeed!

Seems that this share is highly oversold. While there have been issues with the company, one must take note that Geocurve is self-sustaining as of the last interim. Geocurve, Training and the Digital Data Manager combined seem to be Strat Aero's revenue source. With the contracts announced in those areas from my read the share is trading below net present value and likely market asset value (hence the loan v. tough placing?). While the Smith shares are an overhang, from the court papers he seems to be a rational business man. Why would he would rush to sell at these levels after writing off loans worth over $1MMUSD for his shares? I have a number of shares here. All in averaging over -0.6p-, while they might go to -0p-, right now I am not willing to sell. The company maybe...might just pull it off. Raise a pint in hope.

BygD gives it out imho largely because he is heavily invested here and daren't consider the consequences of failure. I have ignored negative posters in the distant past only to discover that they were right after all. Some of us learn from our mistakes particularly if they are expensive ones.

LOL! I have recommended shares in the past with disastrous consequences :( I am very careful now when doing so.

Dr J, As you know the stock market is a cruel and fickle mistress and she cares not for one's emotions. We have all had to learn that at time or another. If one is of an emotional type, or lacking in the grey matter, then she will expose you.

As for BygD, if he willing to give it out then surely he must also be able to accept it. Special or not.

And as for my "recommendations" - you will be aware that I do no such thing.

UPL :)

i doubt bygd is a legitimate investor, he has been ramping this rubbish from about 1000% higher (i.e. any real investment would have been destroyed and decimated by now)

as court documents show someone was colluding with AERO management to ramp AERO on BBs for money you can draw your own conclusions

Incidentally, kemche I have the shares you recommended still on my watch list and if you or anyone is interested two shares which I think will do very well through next year and on are TLOU and WRES. Both at a low ebb share price wise currently but both with serious potential to multibag.

At the risk of sounding a bit pompous or bossy, some of you might like to start being a bit kinder to bygD because I can see him losing an awful lot of money here, assuming he has a lot invested of course. I was a teacher at one time :) so used to telling people what to do. Anyone invested here is going to need a lot of luck to even break even I think.

Yes kemche??, However this technology has not been understood until recently for what it can achieve but recently we have an idea of it.
Aero are involved in very important work, The flood defence to protect London and the Nuclear power station at Hinkley point, speaks of the quality of work required don't you think? And there's much more Aero offer in many sectors as we know.
ou lot have said you're not interested in what Aero have or do, Research helps as there is much more to this than just old accounts.
Much has changed, you would have to agree if you lot didn't have your heads buried in the sand.
Maybe time to have a good look at what you've been misleading readers with and so hostile about for such a long time.

BygD,
As you once said! Less is less?? Who for? you will need to explain! Did you mean less for them, less for you? Since 12p all the way down?!?!? As you said. And continue saying it. As you said. And will no doubt continue saying it!?!?!
