I'm not "moaning", just expressing an opposing viewpoint to the one you have.
You're right AIM is a Ponzi market, but with 2 billion shares in issue and 1.2 billion warrants, I feel this elephant is going to struggle to gallop.
You are correctAERO doubled the last time it was ramped, so some people will have lost badly there, and they will have long memories, so I wouldn't reckon on it rising anytime soon.|
Did you see INFT they have no news to speak about and did a placing at 0.09p and it's been as high as 0.23p bid within a week. Since when does a Aim stock move purely on fundamentals. It's a mayhem ponzi market where people pile into whatever is soaring
and Aero will have it's turn, it doubled the last time they chased it and I'm sure it will happen again at some point so instead of moaning why not make some money and join the party.|
|MM's now reduced the bid back to 0.095p on 5m and no bid on 10m now.......so it does not look like we are going anywhere just yet :-)|
|Well with 2 billion shares in issue it shouldn't be too hard to find some!|
|IEH news today shows there are companies actually doing business in UAV sector.
AERO is an inconsequential 'player'|
|MM's bidding over listed bid on 10m at 0.1001p........they want stock !|
|It looks to me as if the late reported trade of 12m was a buy earlier........someone confident :-)|
|Would a man with the experience of Mr Wharry who would be in demand by many I am quite sure have joined us if he did not see an interesting and rewarding roll within AERO !
A reminder of the 8th March RNS :
8 March 2017
Strat Aero plc ("Strat Aero," the "Company" or the "Group")
Head of UAV Training Division Appointed
Strat Aero plc, an international aerospace company focused on the rapidly emerging Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ("UAV") sector, announces the appointment of Mark Wharry to the Company as Director of Commercial UAS Training & Education. Mr Wharry joins Strat Aero after nearly 15 years in the Royal Air Force, during which time he became the UK Armed Forces' most highly-qualified unmanned aircraft instructor.
Mr Wharry is an extremely experienced flying instructor, having originally graduated from the RAF's Central Flying School in 2005 and specialised in instructional roles throughout his career. While in the RAF, he flew Tornado GR4 fast jets in numerous locations around the world, including on combat missions in Afghanistan. For his last tours in the RAF, he volunteered to fly Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, and converted to the MQ-9 Reaper RPAS alongside the USAF in New Mexico, USA. After his time in the US he was posted to the UK as the RAF's Officer Commanding Standards and Evaluation for the UK Reaper Force and latterly as the RAF's Officer commanding UK Reaper Training.
Mr Wharry was the Central Flying School's first ever "A" grade Qualified Pilot Instructor on an unmanned aircraft, and designed and managed the training for new RAF pilots converting to RPAS. As the Force's most senior instructor, he had responsibility for checking and assessing all pilot instructors on the Force, as well as standardising each front-line squadron on an annual basis.
Mr Wharry 's appointment reflects the Company's commitment to rolling out its commercial UAV pilot training programmes both in the UK and globally in partnership with leading educational establishments such as the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology ('LKW'), a leading international technology university.
Ian McLure, CEO of Strat Aero plc, said "Mark's experience and expertise in the field will prove vital to the Company as he heads up our training division, manages the Company's UK National Qualified Entity activities, and delivers Strat Aero's ongoing and expanding training activities in Asia. Mark has extensive experience in training design, syllabus management, instructing and examining in the aviation world. In the UAV sector, his instructional expertise is unparalleled, and he has worked with numerous aviation training companies and governments in syllabus planning, instructor training and course design. In our view being able to attract an individual with the relevant expertise and pedigree of Mark is testament to the strength of our UAV training offering, and we are focused on capitalising on this to establish Strat as the premium provider of commercial UAV pilot education and qualification globally."|
|The question is whether there is news in the pipeline or buyers just recognising the potential we have and what the potential for upside is from this low market cap on the right news.|
|Bidding over listed bid on 10m|
You can now sell higher than you can buy, 0.1p to sell 0.997p to buy|
I was using the ADVFN quote button above.
It opens showing a 0.09 - 0.1 spread, then after a couple of seconds it shows 0.095 - 0.1!
Not sure why that happens, a bit misleading if like me you check and click back vey quickly.
Try it and you will see what I mean|
|MM's want stock !|
|In fact 0.96p on 10m as well !|
|0.096-0.099p is not 10% Andy more like 3% currently|
|The bid offer spread is 10%!
This is how people lose their money on sub 1p AIM listed stocks, a perfect example.|
|Buying picking up and MM's moved the listed bid up as well !
MM's bidding 0.95p on 5m.|
|Volume low again today and it is with the sellers today but MM's still bidding for 5m but at the listed bid now down from yesterday.|
|I think there is an overhang, and if the guy appointed has no other job currently, then clearly he would take a position, rather than remain unemployed.
The lack of any news on the contract front after so long doesn't augur well, some good news is needed, PDQ...................|
|still expecting negative trading downdate any day... watch this space
why is yorgi trying his best to ramp given his v poor track record on this stock ?|
|Well it looks like the 10m sell at 12.35 today keeping the MM's with some in hand was the closing off of either a T10 or T20 trade. It looks like someone had hoped to make a few pounds without funds to back it up.
I still consider the appointment announced on the 8th has just not been taken on board by the market. A man with those skills and CV would not be joining us if he did not see some interesting and active opportunities ahead which would be rewarding all round for him.
In the meantime patience still needed until we hear news of progress on any front.|
|It's a pointless commentary, without significant news Strat Aero isn't going anywhere.|
|Bid slightly edged up at 0.935p on 5m.|
|They will need a lot of buyers to clear the overhang from the recent placing.
2 Billion shares in issue now, 5m is peanuts.|
|The true bid on 5m is a tad over listed bid at 0.92p. Not a lot over listed but MM's still quite confident they have buyers above that in that size of trade :-)|
