This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2013......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2013! Silly me!

"The Company has made good progress in 2012. While our sales revenues decreased overall, our profits increased as we focussed the business on XML content conversion technology and associated services. Sales of Migrate, our cloud content conversion service, accelerated significantly, with many prestigious new customers.OmniMark version 10 was released in February 2012, and the capabilities of Migrate have been further enhanced with the release of a new RoboHelp to DITA XML document conversion service in May 2012.With an expert development team, a global customer base, growing adoption of Migrate and a strong cash position, we look forward to making further progress in 2013."

Then again, give me Les Burnham's considered opinions any day, but then again, please don't!!!!!! I would rather be guided by my own common sense, knowledge, expertise and my "sauce!"

"With a much improved cash position, recurring maintenance revenues, and new customer orders already received in 2012 for Stilo Migrate, we continue to make good progress in the expanding global market for digital publishing solutions.

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2011......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2011! Silly me!

"I am pleased to report that significant progress was made by Stilo in 2010. Sales grew steadily, operating costs reduced and there was a return to profitability. At the same time, we continued to invest in the development of new software products and online services. Our improving financial position and innovative technology provides us with a solid base upon which to build in 2011."

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2010......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2010! Silly me!

'Following eight successive years of steady improvement, 2009 proved to be a challenging year for Stilo. The general economic outlook remains uncertain, and accordingly the Board anticipates modest sales growth in 2010.

However, we have reduced our ongoing cost base significantly while continuing to invest in the development of new products and are now in a position to focus upon improving profitability through the sales of recently announced software and online services.

Early market indications provide us with guarded optimism that business opportunities are beginning to pick up again, and given our leading technology and specialist expertise, we are well placed to address them.'

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2009......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2009! Silly me!

'We have continued to make excellent progress during the 12 months ended 31st December 2008, reporting record sales and profits, two new product releases, one major software upgrade, several significant professional services contract wins and a steadily improving cash position.

In 2009 our revenues will be derived from software licence sales, software maintenance contracts, professional services and Stilo Migrate, our recently released Software as a Service (SaaS) offer for conversion of digital content to XML. Our customers are drawn from a broad range of markets, including Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing, High Tech, Publishing and Government. With more than half of our sales revenues originating from North America and Continental Europe, we are reasonably well protected from the adverse effects of the weak sterling. These various factors combine to give the Board confidence that the Company has the resilience required to face the global economic challenges that lie ahead in 2009.'

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2008......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2008! Silly me!

'The Company has made steady progress in 2007, increasing both sales revenues
and profits, notwithstanding the adverse exchange rate effects of trading in
North America.

Having consolidated operations in Europe, we have invested significantly in the
development of Stilo Migrate, the world's first on-demand content migration
service, due to be released in 2008. We have received considerable early
interest in Migrate, and have already won an initial order from a major
high-tech customer prior to its general release.

With a strong opening order book for professional services in North America, the impending launch of a new, jointly developed solution for the Aviation industry, and the release of OmniMark v9 later in 2008, we look forward to the future with confidence.'

So our super chairman, fantastic chairman spoke about Stilo Migrate as far back as 2008. Well! 2008!

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2007......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2007! Silly me!

'The 2006 financial results are the best in Stilo's history, and the Company
continues to evolve as a provider of enterprise solutions to corporate clients.

Operating in niche, expanding markets provides us with a firm foundation for
growing the business in the future, and we anticipate continued improvement in
the Company's performance during 2007. In addition, we will actively pursue
acquisition and partnering opportunities that complement our growing range of
products, services and solutions.'

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2006......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2006! Silly me!

'After several years of reducing losses, the Company is moving closer to annual profitability. Sales have increased, overheads have been reduced and the cash
position stabilized. The outlook is very positive.
We have begun 2006 in a much stronger position than 2005, with a solid pipeline
of services income, maintenance contracts and improved software orders in the
first two months of the year, and running ahead of budget. Our new solutions
strategy will improve the effectiveness by which we take our products and
services to market in the future, and will enable us to build up our
intellectual property based upon solving critical customer problems.

The Board is committed to an aggressive growth strategy. We will actively pursue
acquisition and partnering opportunities that complement our growing range of
products, services and solutions.''

implementations of StiloCF2 anticipated during 2005. Its successful market
acceptance will have a significant positive impact upon future company
earnings.'

This is what our super, fantastic, great chairman said as recently as March 2003......Oops sorry I meant as far as 2003! Silly me!

'Our cost base has been substantially reduced and revenues are now approaching a
level to match that cost base. Therefore with cash in the bank, world leading
technical expertise and an established product base which meets the need of a
blue-chip customer list the Board is optimistic that the performance of the 2002
4th quarter can be maintained and while the first half is expected to be a
period of further consolidation the Board is confident that the Company will
demonstrate significant further progress through 2003. Overall the Company is
now well positioned to exploit the growing market for content engineering
solutions in the years ahead.'

'With a substantially reduced cost base, a greatly increased level of sales in
prospect and net cash of £3.0 million at the end of February 2002, the Board
believes that the Company is now well placed to take advantage of the growing
opportunity for XML/SGML based Content Engineering solutions in the years
ahead.'

I am pleased to hear that clocktower.
What I was trying to elucidate was that, IMO,the next move in the share price would be upwards, propelled either by news fuelled buying or just general investment interest.

Personally, the nudge nudge, wink wink,I have a source,I know it all,but I'm not going to tell you who I know or what I know, is as useless as a chocolate teapot, imo, when attempting to formulate, or hone,an investment strategy.

Give me Les Burnham's considered opinions any day.
Again your view as to his remuneration package holds my respect, even though I am inclined to disagree.

Did you know that SPARK report regularly to STL on this BB content ?

StiloLosses has indeed "brought a lot to the thread" !

So mud, the water could be hot when one puts their toe in but on the other it may just be freezing, if I understand your last words correctly. ".Then again it might not." LOL

I respectfully beg to disagree with your view at this time and about how serious this thread should be,bearing in mind the length of time you have been providing us with your insights and wisdom plus knowledge, for which I am grateful. I think most that have followed STL over many years need a shot in the arm when it comes to accepting the comments of the directors as gospel, who have rewarded themselves well by way of share options etc while the share price has not rewarded early investors very well.

SL has brought a lot to the thread and the comments over time have been more than useful, and I for one sincerely hope the flow continues regardless if it is delivered frenetically or even using the phonetical Alphabet Mike Uniform Dela or even using the Western Union Alphabet - Mary Union Denver. :-)

Would in not be beneficial to return to the days when this thread was informative.
When views could be aired without the threat of derision catcalling and worse.
All existing and potential stakeholders in Stilo International would surely benefit from a return to that status quo.
Remember that we are in the main expressing our thoughts on the company .
Adding,"in my opinion"resonates for me and potentially,I believe, for most contributors here.

I was surprised that Bakunin's excellent(imo)posting did not attract more comment for it did seem to capture the very essence of STL's current development aspirations.

Good buying of STL stock has been in evidence on every recent occasion that the share price has dipped to circa 6.00 pence.
The MMs are not prepared to sell this morning in any size.I would expect therefore to see the next move as being strongly upwards, taking us back towards those 2016 highs.

It might require positive news from Stilo for these to be secured. Then again it might not.

Well Clock I am not going to give our Directors and Stilo a kicking now that the share price has started to slide again. It is quite normal for this to happen before they release their results but medium to long term this is a sound buy. Of course, if this continues to slide those canny investors will start to come back in. Would it surprise me if the shares fell back to 4 to 5 pence? Absolutely not but I hope not.

As has always been the case with the Stilo share price during the last 15 or 20 years now: one step forward and 2 steps back. It really is a case of sitting down and being patient here.

Of course, my management team here at Stilolosses will be publishing our own 12 month end results for Stilo International on or around 26 February 2017.

Yes......It will be a Sunday!

No.... This will not be a trading day but we have our fingers crossed that the markets will open for us as we have put in a special request to the powers to be.

Just checking up on STL and saw your posts. LOL - SL

Not looking to good here now that mud has taken a backseat, having traded a fair few over time I expect.

At what point might the sellers start picking a few more up ready for the next run up and hype it along the way?
