They must be nearing a time when they'll be legally obliged to post their figures.

Hopefully, they will announce their results soon and provide clarity on outlook...
A decent outlook and the share price will take care of itself...

Graham, SG put a note out on the 25 July as follows:

I can't remember a RNS but maybe it's not obligatory in the AIM.

Gbh I have just had an email from bidstart saying it is now called Hipstamp. No idea whether still part of SG or not. You may remember that bidstart was going to be the start of the new SG online platform. After about three years of development from their IT base in West Virginia, the founder Rosenberg left under a cloud.

Bidstart functionality was awful and was never going to compete with EBay. When I have a bit more time will poke around the Hipstamp site and workout wither bidstart has been quietly sold, or whether this is an SG relaunch ?

Graham, being a stamp collector I watched this from launch but didn't like the sp, when it hit 12p I started buying, sold out a couple of months ago and started buying back a couple of weeks ago so my history is quite recent.

Gbh, fo anyone with a starting price of 10p, they are already doing well. For any holder from earlier, massive losses.......though thinking about this, about three quarters of the Register is new shares at 10p, so the majority of shares are in the money ( that does not duck that anyone with any history with this share is carrying massive losses)

My estimate of company value also anticipates an share price in the region of 20p but as I'm already sitting on a good profit it's what they have to say about the future that will determine whether I hold or sell.

Jim, if they write off goodwill from acquisitions, write off capitalised IT, then write off the inventory, there is not much left. Look at the pieces I wrote on Stocko called Random Thoughts. At the last year end NAV was £82m, but £38m was intangibles, leaving NTAV of just £44m. The debt levels were rising, but offset against that the cash raised. Throw in some exceptional costs, another year of losses and NTAV might be somewhere between £30m and £50m. Of which £55m was inventory ( ie the business had negative assets if you ignored stock). So write the stock down by half and NTAV could actually be as low as £15-20m.

Which is 10p per share.......

As long as the results are a proper professional kitchen sink job, getting all the bad stuff out and writing off anything that should be, so that we can move forward, that would be just great, thanks.

I know the results were delayed as people were offered meetings on Wednesday.....

They were then withdrawn. It is almost six months since the period end......

Must be a few late nights arguing about what the auditors will let them get away with....

The volumes the last two days suggest they are imminent, and someone has seen sight of them.

One thing to remember, there are now 180m shares in issue. So, a rise even to 20p gives a market cap of £36m. If inventory is written down, and capitalised IT cost, then even the old net asset value of c £80m probably falls to £40-£50m.......not much more than 20p

I emailed and asked some time ago but not seen any news about it since they reiterated the reason for the delay.

That said the share price looks like we have a few hopeful punters :)

Looks like the seller has given up waiting for the buyers to push the price back up. I'll have a few at this price if I can clear some cash on Wednesday.
