It's not jam tomorrow
It's BIOM tomorrow

What time is the leaving party for this thread?

Last day for posting here.
I'll bring some sausage rolls and rola cola if somebody else could organise the streamers and silly hats.

Top deck shandy will be available as well as cheese footballs.

I'm still trying to arrange a DJ who will do requests.

So far we've had

It's the end of the world as we know it REM
If you leave me now CHICAGO
Goodbye Pete & Dud
The long and winding road Beatles
Shame Evelyn Champagne King
We'll meet again Dame Vera Lynn
Don't leave me this way Bronski Beat

I have been in and out of this company since 2005, and think it is time to dip back in.
From the statement accompanying the recent cash call it would seem this is now time for 'significant orders' or close the company down. {before this finanincial year end}
So time for a small punt.

Trouble is that has always been the case and none of it has ever materialised.

For 2 years + PM has been 'working with mega brand owners' and 'trials for major blue chip companies' and singularly failed to close one single deal of note.

Can't sell won't sell

If you read {and believe} this part of April statement, then the second half of this year should bring some positive results.
- - -

From April statement.

2010•
A producer of personal care products has begun a controlled launch of a new product, made from Biome Bioplasticsmaterials, with a major USA retail chain and is now planning a European launch.
•
Having tested Biome resins on full-scale equipment a major American supplier to the food processing market is keen to take the products to market. Having already purchased initial quantities, anticipated success in composting trials could result in this supplier becoming a substantial customer in the second half of this year.
•
One of the world's largest suppliers of horticultural plastic products, this major producer carried out a number of successful full-scale processing trials, of Biome blends, in 2009. Based on this success, they have since been carrying out field trials in a range of climatic locations. The first set of these trials is nearing completion and is said to be positive. Although some of the trials will take several more months, larger sales are expected to begin in the second half. By 2011, this could be another substantial customer.•
A large multinational beverage and confectionery manufacturer has been developing and evaluating a range of Biome materials for confectionery packaging for two years. This company is committed to progressively introducing sustainable materials into their product range. Full scale trials are underway into two main application areas, one of which, for secondary packaging, is expected to result in substantial sales in the second half of this financial year. The second, requiring modified atmosphere packaging is expected to result in further volumes from 2011, onwards.
•
A European retail chain has been assessing making one of its high profile products from Biome bioplastics. Several full scale production trials have been completed and assessed by their convertor. We are now in commercial discussions to firm up on prices and volumes for 2010.
•
Two of the world's largest suppliers to the catering industry are evaluating the new BiomeHTrange, which has higher temperature resistance than conventional bioplastics, for hot food and beverage use. The products were developed in association with these companies.

These would need a miracle to see even .65p never mind 65p. I appreciate your 65p post was in jest buck. I have no confidence in anything this company says as they never back anything up except negative stuff. Trials? What trials? With whom? When? Where? How much £££? Nadda. Diddly squat!!

.1205 to buy now.

How chuffed all those that took up the open offer must be with the strength of the share price since their investment.

Looks as though the markets as well as most investors thought the company would do something to capture the momentum of the fund raiser and start a new regime of regular communication and coming through with some news of these 'trials' that have been going on for 3 years.

So much for the scaling back of what people could take up at the fund raiser because those that wanted in at .125 and couldn't get their desired quota are noticable by their absence at .1205.

Others in the sector reporting tie-ups etc SYM earlier in the week, CERE a couple of days ago and SEO, on the back of the successful trial completion..........................nothing.

Patience you say!

I think you'll find this has more in common with the sacking of Rome than the building.
