|erogenous jones: scribbler - I do understand the ISA rules.
If the shares are wished that to be transferred into an ISA, then a sale contract is made and a purchase contract is made. These are 2 transactions and incur dealing charges, one for the sale and the second for the purchase.
Next, if the shares are held by Standard Life, and the ISA is with a 3rd party, then either these need to be transferred by certification (and a charge will apply, the third charge that I refer to), or there is additional risk that the share price alters unfavourably in the delay between execution of the order and payment received - 3 days settlement and then a further 5 days clearing, 8 working days is jolly nearly 2 calendar weeks.
A bed and ISA is to manipulate the tax rules for CGT purposes.
If the shares are transferred to an ISA/PEP or to your stockbroker in nominee, during the first year of ownership from float, then the additional windfall shares would not be due as they have been sold and founder ownership no longer applies.|
|its the oxman: can anyone explain whats going on here? - little volume - just no buyers I guess and drip drip - would hope management might say something re share price fall soon.|
|its the oxman: just bought c.57p with very modest purchase -hopefully return to profit in h2 will be enough to get things going - speculative punt really - feels as if good value is here somewhere - just hope those running are as concerned about the share price and investors as art and culture. investment for growth is all well and good but lets see some eps growth please.|
