With 3months down the line from last results, dividend payments on the doormat this month & Mr Sprigg hoarding another 50k shares, and moderate options granted at 46.5 one is encouraged that those in the know sense a bottom!

The challenge is the growth trajectory as you say to get real excitement. I would not underestimate these guys & gal. I am more optimistic (& hope to be proved right) They have proven an overseas model and lots more countries and USA states to come PLUS new product mix. The franchise system maintains enthusiasm and incentive for the ground crew. And is easier to roll out than alternatives -

Good business here and good price, but will it go lower? Interesting to see how recession resistant this actually is. I'm not convinced myself that it won't take a bit of a hit later this year. Stagecoach, while very good, is very expensive for any families feeling the pinch. This is bound to have a marginal impact on their business and reduce class sizes for the next couple of years. With a bit of cost cutting they may be able to keep income flat, but surely the days of significant growth here are gone for the next 2/3 years. They will survive the recession, but to get through without any bruises would be surprising in my opinion. Will wait for the final results to see how things are going.

Cracking set of results again. The full annual report is on the LSA website can go through the STA one and if awards were given for presentation and detail this world win hands down!
Given track record the move to direct sales via party plan looks another real winner.
Who needs a bank when got their own. 1.5 million in cash, revenues in dollars and euro gaining ground.

Results due end of the month again. drift down with market - no warnings at all - yielding 4.8% earnings from overseas should gain from forex surely. Unknown is effect of crunch though with lower mortgage rates and cheaper cars, ie some deflation disposable incomes may be higher - and kids come first! fingers crossed - long wait to hit 100 again - but will wait!

Frizzers.
Just read the money week article - good but does not do justice - worth reading the reports going back if seriously interested.
I have been fan since my grandaughter enrolled some years ago & whilst STA had some growing pains has just celebrated 20 years in business and is a a fine example of how a PLC should be Directed. The reports are incredibly transparent and forcasts are available for all to see!
Have tended to understate in the past.
Surely not if but when will price well exceed the 100p IPO price.
I was in early on and averaged down and and now back in profit.
Franchise model ideal for the industry (lots of top class expertise) and proven International roll outs with great risk spread.
If you have any kids or grand kids I recomend enrol in a class and see first hand how well it is managed!
Dividend now restored and on a firm base.
Good luck

Several articles last week - buy in IC and Daily Telegraph business as well. How many other companies have been in business 20 years and come up with such a result on 20th year! 'expectations from analysts 720 next year and 900 following' leaves room for up grades - whats the betting on £1 million in sight? - not if but when! - and still not yet back to float price. Like Macdonalds but better - franchise fees go on and on - and a hell of a lot healthier!

Wow! 700k plus dividend restoration, oodles of cash in bank, growth in all areas and costs dropping - how long before others notice this gem. Full visibility, and they even tell us that trading is going well for this year! what more can we ask for?

The site has been very well updated and the investor relations sector is the best I have ever seen. It is interesting to see the number of countries now operating in very well. On the record so far the expansion possibilities are endless, and with the full franchise model very little cash needed to roll out and add on. Once established the franchise fees just keep coming - just like MacDonalds - but healthier! AS said before my profits from this investment started when my grandaughter was at at class are expected to pay ALL my families school fees!

Yes Oxman. I have now seen the statement (did not show A on ADVFN on my screen but was on level 2) - nice to see a 'reverse to warning' profits will be significantly ahead of expecatations, due to costs down and higher new business(schools opening) you can't say better than that. Looks like our patience being rewarded and anything less than original float price (100) will perhaps look like a bargain to others as well as us old stagers! Whats the odds on a divi being thrown in when August comes? (restoration). No hidden agendas with these Directors.

Liquid enough - no one wants to sell down - Mr Sprigg seems to pick shares up when ever the chance arises - see the announces. I am long term fan. No idea why jump today - interesting - not see any trades - I wonder how the online shop is doing - not factored in yet.

Oh more good news - the 100k shares was another director buy. Joint MD certainly putting money where mouth etc etc! over 27% - at 30 triggers a bid for the lot I think.
the directors buy will hit IC etc soon and may awaken interest.

Sorry if you think you 'missed boat'. offer moved from 52 to 62. Mine was the 5000 buy at 55.
I am simplistic on 5 year chart share price punished for the entrepreneurial over expansion but my belief is that the operation was never worth less than the original float price of 100 as the business model is very sound. Now that the results are proven overseas as well, USA, Germany, etc and with a wider product range and loss making experiments come to fruition or quietly merged overheads(reducing real terms and as a % anyway).
The web sales are surely going to be a massive boost, and with clever third party experienced buying/holding and distribution of stock should be very profitable direct and indirectly. Ok so we have a recession but the core numbers globally are improving and every country franchise reduces overhead % and overall risk. Greece sounds a strange one but coincidentally I had European operations my self at one time and built Greek operation which still stands. Ok weather very hot and the alphabet different but adverts etc translated ok and we had no problem with bilingual operatives - easy to find as lots of Greeks learn English and need the work. I expect 100 plus, not if but when, and not only to fund my grandchildrens education but their kids as well!
Not to mention detailed reports on time!Dividend was prudently cut early but have shown to be divi payers when time is right, cash in bank and building so what prospects for either div restoration and/or earning enhancment aquisition? - oh and directors picked up even more at 66p last year.
Good luck - 'early bird catches the worm'!!
