CEO's wife buys 20,000 shares

Just increased div. I believe. But no guarantee for future.

From recent results 29th June.

"The Directors are proposing a final dividend for the year of 7.9p per share (2015: 7.3p) which, if approved, would give a total dividend for the year up 8.6% to 11.4p per share (2015: 10.5p). The proposed final dividend would be payable on 5 October 2016 to shareholders on the register at 2 September 2016."

Not a holder but watching keenly.

Capital preservation should be top of every ones list right now till we can see some direction :-)

zho, the whole UK market was overvalued, we were due a correction. Brexit bounce is over, reality now sets in. Too much uncertainty.

SGC will be a great buy around £1.50 for the yield alone. No rush to get back in :-)

Gold/Oil is where your money should be. Imho :-)

Time Souter did something, and grasped the nettle, it's clear Griffiths is underperforming, and the way things are going Souter and his sister Gloag will have little left to shout about financially if this stock continues south, they screwed up big time on the East Coast Main Line franchise, greed over fear there, now they are paying the price!

Zho - thanks for link. This is the 2nd sharescope/phil oakley article I have read. The other was Carillion. For the latter he actually gave his est. of what the share price should be. It was very close to current share price

In cae you are interested, Stagecoach has been on my watch list for a while. I hold Carillion. Both SPs have been under pressure. Carillion is heavily shorted.
