28/1/2015 11:42 | The last 2 days SGC has finished blue Eastbourne. I expect a decent finish to the week. My prediction is backed up with my own money, so good luck to us :-) Ex-divi date 5/2/15, worth bearing in mind. | sawadee3
28/1/2015 10:16 | Sawadee3, You must be looking at it differently to me, share price has drifted lower. I entered today, average price thus far of £3.45. | eastbourne1982
28/1/2015 10:12 | Increased ticket revenue means higher dividend receipts for Stagecoach, as well as higher government subsidy, but is somewhat off set by increased Franchise costs for 2014, see… | mazarin
27/1/2015 16:48 | Bingo! Happy days chaps :-) | sawadee3
27/1/2015 14:23 | Heading for the second blue day this week. As predicted :-) | sawadee3
23/1/2015 16:19 | Don't expect big swings arab, we rarely do. That's one of the reasons I remain in it with a core holding. Will be very surprised if we don't get some blue days next week though :-) | sawadee3
23/1/2015 16:00 | watching like a hawk sawadee ! | arab3
23/1/2015 15:57 | I'm watching this however it worries me a bit, if support doesn't hold it is down to £3.20, also the general market has surged recently yet this has gone down on a daily basis, that is worrying, watching with interest. | eastbourne1982
23/1/2015 15:55 | Still next week to go yet arab. Watch and learn ;-) | sawadee3
23/1/2015 14:28 | sawadee has it risen in the last 3 days ? | arab3
23/1/2015 14:08 | Nice time to be gathering shares :-) Ex-Divi date: 5th Feb chaps :-) | sawadee3
20/1/2015 09:59 | I suspect that was the low. Now safe to start gathering shares up as we rise towards the end of the month :-) | sawadee3
09/1/2015 15:21 | You're looking too deep chaps. The clear, regular pattern is being traded. If I can see it, so can everyone else. Can it get any simpler? Sell on the first of every month when it peaks (when the brokers are buying). Buy during the last two weeks of the month, when it's usually at it's lowest. Go against this trend and you will always be on the losing side. As a long term holder, I do this to gain free shares rather than take the cash. | sawadee3
09/1/2015 14:47 | There have been comments by some politicians recently regarding the "monopoly" which SGC has on the two main lines going north, since they were awarded the East Coast franchise. As the review process of this latest award is still pending, that might be a partial cause for the weakness in share price. | grahamburn
09/1/2015 14:37 | Having reviewed today's Broker notes and current Financial pages I cannot find anything to account for the rather large drop in SGC's share price this morning. Possibly in time we mere PI's will be told. I thought the drop on results day was well over exaggerated and events today haven't helped matters, I'm afraid. I wondered if someone has speculated on, or got news of the next round of franchise awards | mazarin
09/1/2015 11:24 | True to form, SGC dropping early in the month. It's like a finely crafted Swiss watch. Dependable. Sell when the brokers are buying on the 1st of every month. Buy back cheaper during the last 2 weeks of the month. Easy exploit for collectors of Stagecoach shares :-) | sawadee3
09/1/2015 11:20 | Read an article the other day regarding stagecoach, which stated although cheaper oil prices are good for public transport companies in one sense, it also makes people more inclined to use their cars too. | t-trader
09/1/2015 11:08 | I would have thought cheaper fuel costs would have a positive impact on profitability - the airlines seem to have benefited. | biglosses
09/1/2015 10:52 | Fairly big decline today, share price down to around £3.49, stuck this on my monitor with the intention of going long if the share price settles. | eastbourne1982
17/12/2014 12:44 | Ex-Divi date: 5/2/15. Timing your buys/sells easy enough with SGC, and i suspect more weakness before rising towards the end of the month. | sawadee3
12/12/2014 11:36 | I know jeffian, but...I couldn't resist ;-) (search a few posts back) | sawadee3
12/12/2014 11:28 | On topic, please, Sawadee3. | jeffian
12/12/2014 11:27 | KIBO update: now down -34% | sawadee3
12/12/2014 10:38 | Sawadee3 10 Dec'14 - 11:36 - 1501 of 1508 0 0 edit KIBO looks more like a short to me KIBO now down 20%+ in the 2 days since I posted. I certainly hope no SGC investors sold here to buy that trash. Good short indeed. | sawadee3
12/12/2014 09:08 | Labour MP brands Stagecoach boss a dinosaur over transport plans Michael Dugher criticises Martin Griffiths for opposing party’s proposals for more public control of trains and buses | zho |
