Well Yump, either we're all correct or we're all crazy.....
Only time will tell...

Might have been me, although not a chartist. The high seemed very arbitrary, until I looked back a few years and it was a previous high, so some 'logic' to it based on charts.

But not on the business.

Just trying to keep a bit of perspective...

A few years ago they made 2p eps. On a quickly growing stock, that could command a p/e of 20.

A share price of 20x2 is where we are now, but with a multiple of the profitable revenue from that time, signed up as a contract, over the next 2+ years.

When the initial decline from 60p began, there was a chartist view posted on this thread suggesting that 60p was the long-term resistance and 40p was the support level established during 2016. As we are right on that point now, I would imagine some chartists might begin buying in at this level. Personally, I will wait until after the interims (or possibly the trading update) before increasing my holding.

Thank you TP. I definitely intend to come to next year's AGM and I look forward to meeting you. I imagine you live in the Quantocks or close by? I live near Shaftesbury so a bit far for a meetup.

Market cap of £50m is in some ways high for a company barely making profits, little visibility and disappointing news of major project contract wins. However, I think it looks undervalued. The good news is yet to come. I have sold none and bought today 30,000 shares at 40.35p. I realise the interims may prove to be weak and market may mark the shares down further but then I will be buying more unless there is clearly bad news reported in the interims/any possible web-cast.

Yes, will be interesting to learn where we are wrt to the Indonesia contract. The confidence expressed at the agm by chairman Rogers has yet to translate into further orders. Given that SRT has the customer support staff now to handle something like up to 8 projects simultaneously, it would be good to break up into two or three 'live' projects right now. To be fair, these support guys are also working on projects that we have not yet signed, there's a helluva lot of work goes into these projects before the signing stage is reached.
All the same, I must admit I thought that the 'holy grail' of multiple overlapping substantive projects would be achieved by now. Soon?.....

I look forwards to the trading update and the interims which will follow.

ps, whilst there is no guarantee, I note ST has done a web-cast in October in 2012,2013, 2014 and 2015

Yes I was. It was a basic level presentation and am not sure it moved the dial that far for me in terms of understanding the threats and opportunities faced by SRT. My understanding is pretty basic as it happens and I am not a shareholder - as yet anyway. Simon Tucker presented well, nothing new there, although I have to say he perhaps was not at his ebullient best. One thing he did mention that is worth noting is that they are now beginning to sell their data services which is an annual revenue stream. A trading statement is due v shortly as you will know and such figures that we mentioned last night are in the market.

Not a lot new in other words but there we go.

No need for any apology Philburt. It would be great if someone does go and report back. Maybe on another forum. Meantime all seems very quiet.
